Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: How To Dodge

When combat is initiated, your central icon changes shape, indicating the different sword stances. This icon signifies that you're in combat mode, and some controls are modified. In combat, the jump button becomes the dodge button. The controls are:

• PlayStation: Circle
• PC: Spacebar
• Xbox: B

Timing is critical for a successful dodge. A mistimed dodge will leave you vulnerable. A perfectly executed dodge can reposition you, allowing for a quick counterattack before the enemy recovers, similar to a riposte. Dodging is also invaluable when facing multiple opponents, enabling you to evade attacks from different directions.Crucially, dodge away from an attack, not into it. Dodging into an attack will result in you getting hit.
