Overindulging in alcohol results in a hangover the following morning. This unpleasant status effect significantly reduces Henry's stats and blurs his vision, hindering his combat prowess and other activities. Hangovers can occur concurrently with drunkenness, though both can be addressed with similar remedies.

There are two primary methods for dealing with hangovers: patience and potion consumption.
  • The Patient Approach: Hangovers, like in real life, will eventually subside on their own. Simply waiting it out is a viable, albeit passive, solution.

    • Add 1 Sage and 1 St. John's Wort.
    • Boil for 3 turns.
    • Grind 1 Mint and add it to the cauldron.
    • Pour the potion into a phial.
    • Potion Quality Matters: The effectiveness of Hair o' the Dog depends on its quality. A poorly brewed potion will only cure drunkenness, not hangovers. A regular-quality potion offers a chance to cure hangovers, while a strong-quality potion will eliminate both drunkenness and hangovers completely.

    While not a direct cure, a Nettle potion can accelerate hangover recovery.


    * **Brewing Nettle Potion:** 1. Add Water to the cauldron. 2. Add 1 Nettle. 3. Boil for 2 turns. 4. Grind 2 Marigold and add it to the cauldron. 5. Pour the potion into a phial.* **Effects:** This potion doesn't instantly eliminate the hangover, but it speeds up the recovery process by 100%. It also provides a healing effect of 25 health over one minute.
