Fortnite continues to expand its offerings, not just within its core Battle Royale, but also through an ever-growing roster of side modes and cross-game promotions that provide players with free cosmetic rewards. One such reward is the Gold Crush Boost, a vehicle cosmetic that players can acquire for free, provided they have access to another popular title: Rocket League.

Fortnite: Get the Free Gold Crush Boost

The Gold Crush Boost is a limited-time promotional reward designed to celebrate Rocket League's 10th Anniversary. To claim it for free in Fortnite, you must:

Own and Log In to Rocket League: The primary requirement is to have access to Rocket League. Simply logging into the game between July 16, 2025, and September 17, 2025, will grant you the "Gold Crush Luxury Rocket Boost" within Rocket League. This period marks Rocket League's Season 19.

Use the Same Epic Games Account: Crucially, ensure that both your Rocket League and Fortnite accounts are linked to the same Epic Games account. This is how the reward seamlessly transfers between games.

Log In to Fortnite: After you've logged into Rocket League and received the boost there, return to Fortnite and log in. The Gold Crush Boost should then be automatically rewarded to your Fortnite account. You'll likely see a "Claim" prompt to add it to your locker.

Availability Start: July 16, 2025
Availability End: September 17, 2025 (which aligns with the end of Rocket League Season 19)

About the Gold Crush Boost in Fortnite:

Universal Equippability: Once claimed, the Gold Crush Boost can be equipped universally to allvehicles within your Fortnite locker, allowing you to customize variouscar bodies in modes like Rocket Racing or Battle Royale.
No Color Styles: Unlike some other boosts, the Gold Crush Boost does not offeradditional color styles, meaning its appearance cannot be altered.
Potential Future Return: While the Gold Crush Boost is a limited-time free reward, it's possible that it may return to either the Rocket League or Fortnite Item Shopsfor purchase at a later date, though this is not guaranteed.

Additional Free Rocket League Reward:For Rocket League players looking for an extra freebie, head to theRocket League Item Shop, navigate to the "Community" tab, and you canclaim the Sunless Video Participant Player Title purely for free. Note that this particular reward is exclusive to Rocket League and does not transfer to Fortnite.
