How to Archive Items in Fortnite

Over the years, the Fortnite Item Shop, Battle Passes, and various packs have introduced thousands of cosmetic items. For many long-time players, navigating a locker with hundreds or even thousands of items can be a time-consuming and frustrating experience. The locker's archive feature is a simple yet powerful tool designed to solve this problem, allowing you to organize your cosmetics by hiding away items you no longer use or like.This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about archiving and unarchiving items in your Fortnite locker.

How to Archive Items

Archiving an item does not delete it from your account; it simply applies a filter that hides it from your main locker view. This makes it easier to scroll through your collection and find the cosmetics you use most often.

• Navigate to Your Locker: From the main lobby screen, go to your Locker.
• Find the Item: Browse through your different cosmetic categories (Outfits, Back Blings, Emotes, etc.) and find the item you wish to archive.
• Archive the Item: Select the item and open the "Options" menu. From there, select "Archive Item." A small archive icon will appear next to the item.
• Confirm Hiding: The item will disappear from your main locker view once you leave and return to that cosmetic category.

This process can be repeated for any item in your locker, including emotes, pickaxes, gliders, and wraps.

How to Unarchive Items

If you change your mind and want an archived item to appear in yourmain locker again, you can easily retrieve it by using the locker'sfilter settings.

• Open the Sort and Filter Menu: From your locker, go to the cosmetic category where your archived item is located.
• Filter by Archived: Look for the "Sort and Filter" button. In this menu, you will find an option to filter by "Archived." Select it and then apply the filter.
• Find and Unarchive: Your locker will now only show the items you have archived in thatspecific category. Find the item you want to unarchive, select it, andchoose the "Unarchive Item" option.

The item will then be returned to your main locker and will be visible the next time you browse your cosmetics.

Using the archive feature is the most efficient way to maintain a clean andorganized locker. By putting away the cosmetics you no longer use, youcan quickly find your favorite skins and emotes without having to relyon the search bar or constantly scroll through hundreds of items.
