Discover the best class to choose first in FBC Firebreak. Uncover tips and strategies to enhance your gameplay experience!
In FBC: Firebreak, players choose from three distinct "Kits" at the start: the
Fix Kit, the Splash Kit, and the Jump Kit. These Kits essentially function as classes, each bringing a unique tool, and eventually, special abilities and an Ultimate, to the team. While any gun can be equipped with any Kit, understanding their individual strengths is key to effective team composition and tackling the Oldest House's anomalies.
FBC Firebreak: Which Class Should You Pick First
What Is The Best FBC Firebreak Starter Class?
For players just starting out in FBC: Firebreak, the initial two Jobs are "Hot Fix" and "Paper Chase." For these particular introductory missions, the
Splash Kit is highly recommended as the best starting class.
The Splash Kit: Versatility for Early Jobs
The Splash Kit is equipped with the
Fluidic Ejector, a tool that launches a globule of water. Its immediate benefits include:
- Instantly putting out fires.
- Cleansing teammates of most status effects.
Beyond these core functions, the Fluidic Ejector proves especially useful in the first two Jobs:
- In "Hot Fix": The Fluidic Ejector is essential for cooling down allies and removing the "Burning" effect as your team works on fixing tech throughout the Jobsite. While water won't protect you from the furnace's massive blasts in the final mission of "Hot Fix," it significantly mitigates the heat buildup and fire damage, making the job much easier to complete.
- In "Paper Chase": This Job involves destroying Sticky Notes that cling to players and the environment. The Fluidic Ejector gains a new purpose here. Normally, you'd have to shoot or even use showers to remove these notes. With the Fluidic Ejector, you can simply fire at the ground as you walk to quickly destroy notes that gather on your body, saving trips back to showers or using up precious ammunition.
In FBC Firebreak, Team Composition Matters
While the Splash Kit offers excellent utility for beginner players tackling the initial Jobs, it's crucial to understand that a balanced party will always be more efficient in FBC: Firebreak. No single Kit can carry an entire team.
A Balanced Party Will Finish Jobs More Efficiently
Each of the three Kits brings distinct strengths and benefits that contribute to a highly effective team on a Jobsite:
- The Fix Kit:
- Comes with a Wrench that can instantly fix broken hardware objectives, bypassing time-consuming Quick Time Event (QTE) mini-games. This saves significant amounts of time on each Job.
- It can also be upgraded to deploy a Swivel Cannon, an automated turret that provides defensive support.
- The Jump Kit:
- Equipped with a tool that can instantly power up electrical tech, such as electric panels, providing light and quickly activating objectives.
- The Jump Kit's tool can also briefly paralyze enemies by charging its attack, offering valuable crowd control.
- It can be upgraded to deploy a Boom Box, which attracts enemies before exploding, providing a tactical distraction and damage.
The Splash Kit's utilityshines in "Hot Fix" and "Paper Chase," but if another player in yourparty has already selected it, you should opt for the Jump Kit or Fix Kit to ensure a balanced team composition. The variety of tools, weaponry, and unique abilities each Kit brings is vital for saving time onobjectives and effectively managing the diverse threats within theOldest House.
