Find out Where to Find Archie in Rotherhithe in Fallout London with our detailed guide.
As part of this rather interesting storyline in search of Archie, you'll eventually find yourself at the crash site of some sort of mysterious plane. This guide contains key directions and useful tips to help you make your way through Rotherhithe safely and progress in this rather interestingly complex quest.

Where is Archie in Rotherhithe in Fallout London?

To start searching for Archie, players need to speak with the Ferryman. He can be found in the market clinic area. This guide goes through step by step how to find the Crashed Plane in Rotherhithe, which is a waypoint that will help players along as they search for Archie. There are also the complete guides on how to save Ferryman and make a strategic escape from Thameshaven Market for those who need help at an earlier stage in the storyline.

Rotherhithe, a dangerous marshland northeast of Thameshaven and alongside the River Thames, is a perilous obstacle. These waters irradiate very strongly—up to 250 rads per second. Healing is not possible in such an unforgiving environment, so save often. Be very careful near water as the chances of falling in and it being fatal are very high.

Your mission will be located at a crashed plane that sits in the middle of a ruined cityscape, as shown in this picture. The path to this risky area is kind of tricky to traverse. Look for a staircase on the side of a building wall—see the image—to get up onto the rooftops and catwalks, avoiding the deadly reservoirs below. Along the way, be careful for the mightiest Softshell Mittenlurk you have encountered yet; this one is significantly larger and more aggressive than any others you have encountered up until now. This will help you overcome its heavy armor—focus your gunfire on its exposed torso.

Having navigated those perilous footbridges and rooftops to the plane wreck, you will find that a group of survivors does not pose as much danger. Interact with the plane's bulkhead to signal your presence and thereby start the next phase of the mission: the demolition of nearby nests of monsters. This new objective becomes another dangerous chapter in your journey.

Notice: Add more details about the environment, challenges that might be in the way of a player, and rewards/consequences for completing the mission.

Archye encounter

Your quest begins by exploring the map to the fullest, which involves traveling by water to reach every corner. There are two main things that you need to do: destroy the Mittenlurk Hatchling eggs and kill all the creatures hatched from the eggs. You can pick up extra eggs as you move through this dangerous landscape.

When you've destroyed all of the eggs, you can retreat to your plane in safety. A new opportunity will then arise: the examination of Mary Ellis' wreckage. You are aiming for the cockpit door, clearly shown in the screenshot below. Inside the wreck, you will encounter a boy named Archie. From your conversation with him you will receive two rewards: the mighty Ferryman's Friend pistol and a mission update that sends you back to the Ferryman, who is in the busy Thameshaven Market.

Open the gate on the river

Now that things are in motion, it's time to head back and see the Ferryman, who is waiting at the Thameshaven dock. He'll give you the Ferryman's Friend pistol and then ask for your help with a more pressing matter: he needs your assistance to lift the nearby water gate. To do this, travel west of the Ferryman's dock and follow along until you cross over the wooden footbridge. Be careful as you have a few aggressive Radroaches to contend with along the way.

At the far end of the footbridge is a small room with a terminal inside. Turn on the terminal, then click "Lower Crane." This drops the footbridge connected by the crane behind you. Cross over the newly lowered bridge to the platform. Then, hit the button that opens the water gate to complete the objective. Now, with the gate open, make your way back to the Ferryman's boat, which is located below the platform.

Crossing a River

Boat Order and Travel to Monument Lab

After having a little chat with the Ferryman, you will be taken on a boat ride. You are tasked with defending the boat while bandits attack you from the shore. This can sometimes be a quite glitchy sequence so best to move less and use the camera rotate while in aim.

Use the environment to your advantage. Red barrels on the beach, when shot, can inflict massive damage on enemy lines. Stock up with as much ammunition and health items as possible before the battle ensues. The Ferryman will be slowed or even stopped if there's concentrated enemy fire, so clear out the threats quickly.

Once you make it safely across the Thames, rejoin Archie and the Ferryman at a dock nearby. To find them, head northwest towards London Bridge. Watch out for a Tower Bridge filled with cannibals as you go.

The path to London Bridge winds through city streets and an enemy camp packed with hostile hooligans  near Borough Market. Keep your distance, save often, and lean on buildings for cover as much as possible. There's also a particularly more formidable foe, Legendary Atkins, who patrols this camp. Take out the weaker enemies before engaging him.

You'll need 10 metro tickets to cross London Bridge from Beefy, a tenant who can give more general information about your quest. On the far side, meet up with Archie and Ferryman again to get your next mission, the Monument Lab bunker.

A cluster of robotic pigeons will be guarding the bunker's entrance—right at the foot of a local monument. This bunker contains several disturbing noises from a locked room with terminal access. Said terminal is at the far end of the corridor, but to get it started, one will have to power up the lab via a switch near the main entrance. Be careful of the turrets which will activate after powering up the lab. Once it's on, get set for an epic boss battle.

How to Beat Super Clone Experiment?

You will find yourself in an open room, soon entering a dangerous arena where you will face an enemy of great power—the Super Clone Experiment. This is a mutated behemoth armed with a deadly electric baton, so lightly armored characters are in serious danger. You will have to apply strategic evasion tactics if you want to survive. Move around the room nonstop, dropping down to the lower central area from time to time, mixing your character's movements up a bit to confuse this rather slow but powerful foe. With patience and precision, use brief bursts of fire while keeping your distance. Only then will such a hit-and-run strategy finally weaken the mutant. When it's defeated, you will get the Assassin's Knuckles. With these on hand, go to the far-end terminal in the room for some crucial information before exiting the facility and rejoining Archie and the Ferryman.

The "Lands of the Seraph" quest

As you exit the Monument Lab, return to the small pier where the Ferryman and Archie have been waiting patiently for your return. Relay the vital information you have picked up through your journey in the lab. Knowing this, the heroes will charge you with one last mission before you all go your separate ways: to escort this young boy safely into St. Paul's Sanctuary. And thus begins the final mission of this chapter in your journey through the "Lands of the Seraph.".
