Where To Find All Dark Zones in Dying Light The Beast

In the post-apocalyptic world of Dying Light: The Beast, resources are scarce, and survival depends on your ability to scavenge for supplies. Dark Zones are areas that contain a wealth of valuable resources, blueprints, and weapons, but they are also fraught with danger. These dark and creepy buildings are a high-risk, high-reward proposition, as they are crawling with infected.Dark Zones are a key feature of the game's open world. They are unmarked on your map until you spot them, and once you do, they are permanently marked so you can return to them at any time. A good strategy is to use your binoculars to scan the area from a high vantage point, which allows you to spot Dark Zones and other points of interest from afar.

Understanding Dark Zones

Dark Zones come in different types, with larger, multi-leveled areas and smaller, more focused locations. While you can find a variety of resources in every Dark Zone, some locations are more likely to contain specific types of loot. For example, you're more likely to find Wiring at a Hardware Store, Fuel at a Gas Station, and Rags at a Vanity Store.

• Smaller Dark Zones: These include places like Hardware Stores, Gas Stations, Megastores, and Pharmacies. They are quicker to explore and generally have fewer high-level infected.
• Larger Dark Zones: These are multi-leveled areas like Warehouses, Factory Offices, Apartments, and Schools. They are more difficult to explore and are often filled with more dangerous infected, and sometimes even have a side quest attached to them.

While infected will respawn in Dark Zones, the main reward—such as a rare blueprint, a unique weapon, or a cosmetic item—does not. When you hover over a Dark Zone icon on your map, it will show as "completed" if you have already picked up the main reward.A useful tip for navigating these areas is to use your Survivor Sense, which will highlight resources as white pulsing dots for a short period. Also, make sure to craft plenty of lockpicks before you venture into a Dark Zone, as you are guaranteed to find locked doors and cupboards containing valuable loot.
