How to Get the Sawblade Launcher in Dying Light The Beast

In Dying Light: The Beast, Kyle Crane is armed with a variety of tools and weapons to combat the infected, but few are as satisfying and effective as the Sawblade Launcher. This Legendary weapon allows players to fire a spinning sawblade that can tear through multiple enemies at once, making it a powerful tool for crowd control. While the Sawblade Launcher can be acquired relatively early, doing so requires players to venture into a higher-level area and complete a challenging parkour and puzzle sequence.This guide will show you exactly how to find and climb the Silos safe zone, solve its puzzle, and get your hands on the Sawblade Launcher blueprint.

How to Find and Climb the Silos in Dying Light: The Beast

The Sawblade Launcher blueprint is located at the top of the Silos Safe Zone in the Farmlands region, which is in the easternmost part of the map. This area is more dangerous than the starting zones, so it's a good idea to be at least Level 6-8 before attempting the climb.

• Start the Climb: Look for a truck conveniently parked next to the silos. This is your starting point. From the truck, you can grab a steel beam to get across to the right side of the structure.
• Navigate the Exterior: Use the metal frame on the exterior of the silos to climb up to a metal catwalk on the right.
• Parkour Your Way Up: From the catwalk, use the lamp post to swing across to a red pipe. Jump from one red pipe to another, which will lead you to two more lamp posts. You'll eventually land on another catwalk.
• Reach the Second Level: From this catwalk, swing on a lamp post and then grab a rope to reach the second level of the Silos.
• Unlock the Shortcut: As soon as you land on the second catwalk, look for the collapsible ladder. Drop it down to create a shortcut. This is a crucial step that will save you a lot of time and frustration if you happen to fall.
• Continue to the Top: Continue forward on the catwalk and walk the steel beam until you spot a rope to your right. Jump to grab the rope, and then grab the red pipe to reach the very top of the Silos.

Solving the Silos Safe Zone Puzzle

Once you're at the top, you'll need to restore power to the safe zone. This is a two-part puzzle that involves a long cable.

• Clear the Area: You'll encounter a number of zombies roaming the top of the silos. Youcan either eliminate them or simply make a break for the electrical boxon the right.
• Grab the Cable: Connect the cable to the electrical box on top of the silos.
• Descend with the Cable: Drop down the second collapsible ladder, which you should have unlocked on your way up. You need to carefully descend to the first platformwhile holding the cable. The key is to make sure the wire doesn't getsnagged or stretched out too much.
• Complete the Circuit:At the first platform, you will find the second power source in acorner. Connect the wire to the box to complete the circuit and restorepower to the safe zone.

Sawblade Launcher Location & How to Craft It

Once the power is restored, you can finally access the safe zone and claim your reward.

• Find the Safe Zone Entrance: Look for a wooden crate near the electrical boxes that blocks a vent passage. This vent leads inside the safe area.
• Break the Crate: You can break the wooden crate to enter the safe zone. However, someplayers have reported a bug where the crate cannot be destroyed.
• Bug Workaround: If you encounter this bug, make sure that both of the collapsibleladders are dropped down. Then, exit the game and restart it. This mayeither fix the bug, or in some cases, you may find yourselfautomatically teleported inside the safe zone.
• Claim the Blueprint: Once inside, you'll find the Sawblade Launcher blueprint on the workbench, alongside other crafting resources.

To craft the Sawblade Launcher, you will need the following materials:

• 100x Scraps
• 10x Blades
• 3x Batteries
• 1x Gun Parts

After gathering the necessary components, you can craft the Sawblade Launcher and use its devastating power to shred through the infected hordes.
