How To Unlock Military Convoys in Dying Light The Beast

In the treacherous, undead-infested world of Dying Light: The Beast, every resource is a matter of life and death. For players who favor firearms over melee weapons, one of the most critical and scarce resources is ammunition. Fortunately, the game provides a reliable source of ammo, along with other valuable supplies, in the form of Military Convoys.These convoys consist of one to three military trucks, and while they are a treasure trove of ammo, weapons, and valuables, they are also heavily guarded by a variety of formidable infected creatures. This guide will show you where to find every convoy on the map, what to expect when you get there, and the types of rewards you can find.

How to Find and Unlock Military Convoys

There are nine military convoys scattered across the map in Dying Light: The Beast, most of which are found on major roads, bridges, and tunnels. Five of these are small convoys with a single truck, while the remaining four are larger, featuring three trucks to loot.

As you explore the world, you may see an exclamation mark appear on your HUD's compass. This indicates a point of interest, which is often a military convoy. You can use your binoculars to spot them from a distance. Once you've discovered a convoy, it will be permanently marked on your map with a truck icon, making it easy to return to later.

To access the valuable loot inside the trucks, you must first get a keycard. These keycards are carried by the infected in military uniforms who guard the convoy. They are often tougher than standard biters, so be prepared for a fight. Once you've defeated them, search their bodies to find the keycard. For larger convoys, you will need to find a keycard for each truck.

Additionally, some convoys also have locked side compartments on the trucks that can be opened with a lockpick. Be sure to have a few on hand, as the difficulty of the locks can vary.

All Convoy Locations and Rewards

One of the best things about convoys is that their loot, including ammo, valuables, and weapons, will respawn after a certain amount of in-game time has passed. This makes them an excellent and repeatable source for stocking up on supplies. The specific loot is random, so you can't guarantee a specific ammo type, but with a frequent return, you will eventually find what you need.
