How to Make Money Fast in Dying Light The Beast

In the harsh, unforgiving world of Dying Light: The Beast, Old World Money is a precious commodity. It’s essential for buying upgrades, crafting materials, and powerful weapons from merchants. However, between weapon repairs and new purchases, your hard-earned cash can vanish in a flash.This guide details the most effective methods for farming money, from early-game strategies to more advanced, high-risk techniques.

What to Sell to Merchants for the Most Money

To maximize your profits, you need to know which items are worth the most. The rule of thumb is that the rarer an item, the more money a merchant will pay for it.Here’s a breakdown of the best items to sell:

• Valuables: These are specific items meant to be sold to merchants. The quality and rarity of Valuables determine their price. Keep an eye out for high-tier Valuables like Morphine, Jewels, and Asporfin.
• Guns: Firearms are rare and highly sought after. Any guns you don't plan to use can be sold for a significant profit, especially those of Epic or Legendary rarity.
• Rare Resources: While you should avoid selling crafting resources if you can, in an emergency, rare resources can net you some quick cash.

The goal is to gather as many high-quality Valuables as possible.

Fast Money and Rare Valuables Farming (Early Game)

This method is perfect for players just starting out and is alow-risk way to build up a decent amount of cash. It leverages a coupleof early-game locations and the ability to reset Dark Zones.

• Locate the Library Tower Safe Spot: This safe spot is located near the Town Hall, one of the earliestsettlements you'll unlock. Make sure you have this safe spot activated.
• Raid the Library Square Apartments: Head to the Library Square (Sq.) Apartments, which is a Dark Zone. This particular Dark Zone is easy to clear and contains a number ofvaluables on the first floor. Clear out the infected and loot everyValuable you can find.
• Reset and Repeat: Once you'vecleared the apartment, return to the Library Tower Safe Spot and use the bed to sleep for an entire day. This will reset the Dark Zone, allowing you to return and loot it again.
• Sell Your Loot: Repeat this process until your inventory is full of Valuables, then return to the merchant at the Town Hall to sell everything.

This strategy is great because the quality of the Valuables you find willincrease as your character's level goes up, making it a viable methodthroughout the early stages of the game.

Money & XP Farming (Hardcore Method)

This high-risk, high-reward strategy is for more experienced players whohave a firm grasp of the game's combat mechanics and Beast Mode. Itfocuses on farming Volatiles, the most dangerous infected in the game, who drop incredibly valuable loot like Morphine and MRE Rations.

• Unlock Town Hall: Ensure you have the Town Hall settlement unlocked, as this will be your safe haven during the farming runs.
• Charge Your Beast Mode Meter: During the day, engage in combat with regular infected to charge yourBeast Mode meter. This is crucial, as you'll need the power-up to defeat the Volatiles.
• Wait for Nightfall: Once your meter is almost full, wait for night to fall naturally, or use a bed to fast-forward time to night.
• Lure the Volatiles: Go to the main exit of the Town Hall and head toward the middle of theplaza. Use your flashlight or make some noise to draw the attention ofnearby Volatiles.
• Activate Beast Mode and Attack: Lurethe Volatiles back toward the entrance of the Town Hall, under the UVlights. Once you're in a safe position, activate Beast Mode and attackthe Volatiles. Your increased strength and health regeneration shouldallow you to take them down.
• Escape and Reset: Once theVolatiles are defeated, quickly loot their bodies for Valuables andresources. After looting, run under the UV light or inside the Town Hall to break the chase. Use the bed to sleep until morning to reset thearea and your Beast Mode meter, then repeat the process.

This method is dangerous but extremely lucrative, as Volatiles drop some ofthe most valuable items in the game. It’s an excellent way to not onlyfarm money but also gain a significant amount of XP.
