This mission, which becomes available after completing the main story quest "Power Gambit," tasks you with investigating a critical water pumping station. The quest triggers automatically after you have activated the first Relay Station located east of the Town Hall. Shortly after this, you will receive a radio call from Pietro, who urgently requests your assistance with a malfunctioning water system. To officially start the quest, you must travel to the Old Villa district and speak with Pietro directly. He will direct you to the source of the problem: the Water Pumping Station, marking your next destination on the map.
Your primary goal is to infiltrate the Water Repairs Facility. The main entrance may be blocked, so look for alternate routes. The most reliable path is to scale the scaffolding on the building's exterior to reach the rooftop terrace. From there, locate a large ventilation shaft wide enough to crawl through; this will provide access to the facility's interior.
Once inside, be prepared for a hostile environment. The corridors are typically dark and infested with infected. Clear the area cautiously as you navigate deeper into the building. Your target is a small, cluttered office room that houses a prominent safe.

How to Begin the Hydro-Puzzle Quest
