However, for those less keen on direct PvP encounters, alternative acquisition methods exist.

The Thermoelectric Cooler is a late-game resource crucial for crafting end-game Compactors and Cutterays, such as the Tarl Cutteray or MK6 models. These are found specifically within the Imperial Testing Stations scattered across the Deep Desert in Dune: Awakening.A key mechanic of the Deep Desert is that its layout changes weekly following the devastating Coriolis Storm. This means players will need to carry a surveying kit with them when entering this PvP zone to reveal the refreshed map.To begin your search:

Head to the Deep Desert: Use your Ornithopter to travel to the Deep Desert.

Survey for Imperial Testing Stations: Fly around the map, paying close attention to rock formations. The entrance to an Imperial Testing Station is distinctive: a large metal door nestled between two prominent rock outcroppings.

Ensure Clear LZ: Once you spot a station, perform a 360-degree scan of the surrounding area to confirm no other hostile players are nearby.

Infiltrate the Station: After ensuring the coast is clear, land your Ornithopter and proceed into the building.

Clear and Loot: Inside, you'll encounter and need to deal with a number of enemies. Look for standard chests, similar to those found in Hagga Basin Testing Stations. These chests will contain valuable resources, including Advanced Servoks, Particle Capacitors, and Thermoelectric Coolers. Make sure to complete the entire activity within the station to access the final loot room, which will yield even more of these crucial materials.

Recent updates have expanded the PvE zone in the Deep Desert to encompass its entire southern half. This means some Imperial Testing Stations within this southern region are now PvE, allowing players to farm Thermoelectric Coolers without direct PvP risk, though the density of resources generally increases further north into the PvP areas. Players seeking all available schematics each week may still need to visit both PvE and PvP Imperial Testing Stations.

Where to Buy Thermoelectric Cooler in Dune: Awakening?

If venturing into the Deep Desert's PvP zones is not your preference, you can opt to purchase Thermoelectric Coolers using Solaris. There are two primary methods for acquiring them through trade:

Vendor Purchase (Expensive): You can purchase Thermoelectric Coolers from certain vendors. For instance, a vendor inside the Crossroads Tradepost sells these resources for 5,000 Solaris each. While they typically have 15 units in stock, this is a steep price.

Player Trade Market (Auction - Cheaper): Alternatively, you can visit the Player Trade Market (Auction House) in either Harko Village or Arrakeen. Here, you can often find Thermoelectric Coolers for a much more affordable price, typically ranging from ~350 to 500 Solaris each. This is generally the more economical option for acquiring them without venturing into the Deep Desert.
