Those playing Deltarune who reach Chapter 3 will eventually embark on a quest to find Grand Photos. These are specific photo targets located on the second board of the TV Time show. While only three Grand Photos are required to advance the story, finding all four will significantly boost your score and potentially unlock hidden secrets later in the game. Deltarune Chapter 3 Grand Photo #1
- Clue: "The plant of spikes, hides in the forest. It’s no rose, but its thorns hold love."
The first Grand Photo features a Cactus in the Forest. To capture it, follow these steps:
From the starting area, move one screen to the left.Then, head down one screen.You will find yourself in a vertical passage with a river flowing through it.Look carefully on the right side, hidden within the trees, where you'll spot a single cactus.Take a picture of it with your camera.Deltarune Chapter 3 Grand Photo #2
- Clue: "A green geyser, just next door. Who can dig it up?"
The second Grand Photo is of The Geyser. Capturing it involves a clever interaction with Lancer:
From the starting point, move down, keeping to the right side of the path.You will encounter a vendor selling Lancer for a high price (999 points).Use your camera to take a picture of Lancer, ensuring the price is visible in the shot. This action will cleverly reduce Lancer's price to just 9 points.Buy Lancer.Now, return to your starting point.Go through the door on the right of the starting area. - Clue: "A flower torn in half! I wonder who took it... the photo, I mean."
The third Grand Photo is of A Flower Torn in Half. To capture it, follow these steps:
From the room at the beginning, go right and take the raft towards the dock located at the bottom of the screen.Wait until Susie finishes solving the bridge puzzle. - Clue: "The red antlion, under the ground. Fangs of youth, unearthed with a photo."
The fourth Grand Photo is of The Red Antlion. Here's how to capture it:
After taking the 3rd Grand Photo, move upward and then head left. You'll find a simple puzzle in this area.Shift the two bridges on the sand tile to create a clear path leading to an underground cave.Hit the button, and Susie will take over, triggering a series of bombs.This action will reveal a room below where various antlions are moving around.Wait until a red antlion appears among them and quickly take a picture of it to get the final Grand Photo.While obtaining only three Grand Photos is sufficient to progress the story,
gathering all four is a significant factor in achieving an S-Rank in the photography round of TV Time. Earning an S-Rank for this round will also reward you with the White Ribbon and grant you access to the S-Rank Door in the Green Room, which leads to a hidden area within Chapter 3.
