How to melee in Cyberpunk 2077?

There are a few different ways to execute a melee attack, and the methods you can use depend on the type of weapons you currently have equipped.

On the other hand, if you have a melee weapon equipped, you can perform three different types of melee attacks. The first is a fast melee attack.

The second is a quick attack and can be activated by pressing the R2 or RT button. This is your standard melee weapon attack and allows you to deal a decent amount of damage with a short cooldown between hits.

Strong Attack

The third and final attack is made by executing R1 or RB, this attack deals great damage to opponents in exchange for a longer cooldown and cooldown between attacks.

If you are upgrading your character to be focused on melee, then you can use these attacks as your main combat focus. Any means can do.

But you have to keep in mind that if you are upgrading your character to be proficient with firearms then you need to be more selective in your use of melee attacks and this is because quick attack is best used as a form to repel opponents' attacks or to kill them when they are weak.

Weapons

If you have a gun or projectile-based weapon equipped in Cyberpunk 2077 you can only perform a quick melee attack by pressing the R3 button on PlayStation and RS consoles on Xbox consoles.
