While BlazBlue: Entropy Effect's plot is certainly an adventure, it's fascinating to note that players can discover multiple endings based on the decisions they make. Players' dialogue choices impact subsequent steps at crucial moments throughout the game's tasks. The "Happy" or "True" story endings can be unlocked by following these steps.
Unlocking Phenomena Fragments should be your first priority. Find Marvin in the hub to obtain the appearance of Phenomena Fragments on your first playtime. Marvin is located on the upper floor, at the balcony area. He will leave his current location after being introduced and after some conversation has occurred.
Be sure to talk to all of the NPCs in the hub areas, as they are involved with the key to the true ending in the story. The major NPCs of BlazBlue: Entropy Effect include Marvin, CAM, the "orb", and IO, but there are many others. In order to actually see the true ending, you will have to complete the quest on "Last Words." Skipping this mission will have you miss a few major viewings of Phenomena and options for conversations. A few of these options might not be available once Last Words is completed.

Mind Upload IV, Fourth Edition

You must encounter and re-live certain Phenomena in order to fully grasp the storyline. Phenomena can be unlocked through the defeat of bosses while one does Mind Training sessions or just plain playing of runs. Each defeated boss will drop the pieces, which in the game is known as 'Phenomena Fragments.' All of these events will show up at the hub places when you unlock a Phenomena. The latter will happen at certain intervals, once the Guide calls out to the player; to get the true ending, you'll have to make a few decisions in these events.
Reuse and Recycle
To talk to the triangle-headed robot: Head to the third-floor balcony in the middle hub area where you first met Marvin. Its name is CAM. Once you've spoken to him, find Stan and talk to him once.
Onest recording
You are going to have to be looking for him in order to talk with Marvin about his wife Zoe concerning the Phenomena event "Recording #1." After you have started this conversation, you will need to call the Guide to talk about what's next. In order to call the Guide you will want to go to the menu, then "Info," followed by "Voicemail," and finally "Mind Upload." On that select "Call Back" from the menu.
Reporting and Reunion
Speak with CAM out on the balcony while on one of these quests. To progress each, you'll need to find him at least once.
Death and Overdrive
In "Overdrive," locate Marvin, as always, and interact with him, having a talk with him once. In the next mission named "Death, the players will have to revisit Marvin and break the tragic news about Zoe's death. Now, this sends them to ultimately decide upon - Inside Options should be chosen or else if players fail or simply don't communicate this fact or reality to Marvin, the player will not get any further choices.
Meet CAM where you normally would and start a conversation with him. When he asks about the mind linkages, make sure to tell CAM. How about "Have you heard of mind links?" in the conversation? It should be "Like last time I heard it from the orb" for the following choice. By selecting "Just like last time, I heard it from the orb." players can jump to the right option if they wish to speak further with CAM.
New Project Start-Up
There are lots of things to do in "Project Fledgling.". First, select "Okay," for the option at the call to the Guide, then select the option saying "What makes you think I will help you?" for a bit of the background as well as explaining certain things; shortly after choosing another route "Fine, I promise you."
Go upstairs on the balcony. Speak with CAM. To activate CAM, you need to complete "Disagreement" and "Separate Ways" beforehand. The final step is finding and speaking with the cleaning robot near the big screen on the first floor. Then you head back to CAM and conclude the conversation with him. Choose either the first or second option when he asks you to choose between options. This will block you from the true ending if you select the third dialogue option.
Key
In "Key," select the speak to the orb on the second floor option. An option, "There has to be another way," is said in response to an option. If he had spoken to the orb, he must say when prompted by the Guide. Select "Maybe I can find another way" as your response.
Separate Persona
Do "Another Identity" and "First Conversation" beforehand, then revisit CAM and speak with him out on his balcony, or the player will be stuck on a bad ending route.
A Single Choice
Strictly optional but this side operation offers important context to the story and a bit of added dialogue. Finish this if wanting to learn more about the plot - namely about CAM and IO.
