How to Access the Black Ops 7 Beta
Access to the beta depends on whether you have pre-ordered the game.- Pre-order a digital copy: If you pre-order any digital edition of Black Ops 7, you will automatically gain access to the Early Access beta. The beta will become available for pre-download through your platform's digital storefront (PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Battle.net, or Steam) before the Early Access period begins.
- Pre-order a physical copy: For those who pre-order a physical copy of the game, you will receive a beta code from the retailer. You will need to redeem this code through your platform's storefront to gain access to the beta.
- No pre-order: If you don't pre-order the game, you will still be able to play during the Open Beta period, which is free for everyone. You can pre-download the beta client and jump in as soon as it goes live.
- Xbox Game Pass: Players with an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription will also be granted early access to the beta.
When Does the Black Ops 7 Beta Start?
The Black Ops 7 beta officially begins in early October. The Early Access period will run for three days, followed immediately by the Open Beta period.
- Early Access Beta: This period is for pre-order customers and select Game Pass subscribers. It starts on Thursday, October 2nd at 10 AM PT and runs until Sunday, October 5th at 10 AM PT.
- Open Beta: This period is free for all players on all platforms. It starts on Sunday, October 5th at 10 AM PT and runs until Wednesday, October 8th at 10 AM PT.
