How to Get Through The Selunite Outpost in Baldur's Gate 3

Of the many attractions comprising the Underdark, one is the Selunite Outpost. If players of Baldur's Gate 3 avoid getting stuck inside it, they should be able to see this little fort from a distance as they enter the top northern tunnels.
The only entrance and exit to the outpost is the portcullis, which is locked and guarded by two statues that can cast spells that can take down a Minotaur pretty quickly. If you want to avoid dying at the hands of defensive constructions in Baldur's Gate 3, then follow this method.
The statues will attack the moment anything crosses in their path. The stone guardians are not easy to demolish, but players can sneak past them in two ways: through stealth and sabotage.
Curiously, the statues' protection mechanisms won't trigger if you crouch within their field of view. With Hide, a player can activate stealth mode and either sneak into or out of the outpost with impunity. Note that the portcullis lock has a deceptively high Difficulty Class; you'll want to bring along someone who is skilled in Sleight of Hand-or at least have plenty of Inspiration and lockpicks on hand.
After opening the chest in the cave along Risen Road and returning it to the Zhentarim, their merchant will allow you to buy the Gloves of Thievery. When you wear these, Sleight of Hand rolls will be easier.
Well, this part may take a bit longer when crouching past these statues. Characters who travel through this portion of the Underdark regularly may want to deactivate these defenses for good. To do this, you'll need to work your way up to the upper levels of the Selunite Outpost. If you face the statue in the middle of the room, you'll notice a glowing crystal. You can shoot this down with an arrow, or blast it with magic if you prefer. Afterwards, the statues outside will no longer have power, and all will be free to travel where they will.
Those who reached this Selunite Outpost by solving the Defiled Temple puzzle now have an extra way out: a first floor window which opens. Jump through it and head down the edge of the cliff, being careful of the exploding plants around you.
This creates another problem, as well. The party will encounter a Spectator amidst all the petrified Drow in the enclosed space. Should this monster get the better of the party, it may prove very hard to dispatch. Attempt to destroy the petrified Drow before the creature can revive them, being very aware of its Fear and Paralysis attacks.
After defeating the Spectator, the player character goes through a smoke-filled passageway to the Underdark Beach and the Arcane Tower.

Underdark Spectator defeated in Battlegrounds III's Selunite Outpost
If the portcullis cannot be used, your only other option for leaving the outpost is to climb out the window of the Spectator-over much easier said than done. You will also need to fight the Drow that are unleashed by the Spectator; however, by collecting and placing explosive barrels you can defeat the creature without combat.
You can actually trivialize the fight against the Spectator near the Selunite Outpost in BG3 by setting up a line of Oil Barrels strung down the route to the petrified Drow. Then, just keep everybody inside the outpost until someone picks off one of the petrified Drow from the window; that'll spawn the Spectator.
If all goes according to plan, the Spectator will materialize, float into your oil barrel line, and examine the narrow path that leads to the outpost window. To destroy the Spectator, use your ranged Fire attack to set off the barrels, and then use your normal attacks and skills to finish him off.
