Phase 1: Locating the Formicai Outpost

Your first task in the quest is to "reach the Formicai Outpost in Dam Battlegrounds." The challenge here isn't hostile engagement; it's the sheer distance and isolation of the target area.

Target Acquisition and Spawn Strategy

Map Deployment: Deploy into the Dam Battlegrounds map.

Zoom and Locate: Open your map and zoom in tightly on the very southernmost point of the area. This remote corner is where the Formicai Outpost is located. You will likely need to zoom in significantly to see its specific name.

The Long Run: The Formicai Outpost is significantly removed from the main flow of action on the Dam Battlegrounds map. It's truly off the beaten path.

• Strategic Advice: Since the task itself is quick and simple once you arrive, do not attempt this quest if you spawn far away from the southern end of the map. Running across the entire map istedious, exposes you to unnecessary risk, and wastes valuable time.
• Optimal Start: Wait until you get a spawn point that is close enough to the southern boundary to make a direct dash to the outpost feasible.

Safety in Isolation

The silver lining of the Formicai Outpost’s remote location is that it ishighly unlikely you will encounter other human players there. Thisallows you to focus solely on the mission objectives without worryingabout PvP interference.

Phase 2: Securing and Raising the Flag

• Enter the Outpost: Head up to the top of the hill and enter the outpost structure.
• Find the Flag: Inside the outpost, look for a desk. The required flag will be found inside a bag placed on this desk.
• Retrieve the Flag: Interact with the bag, and the flag item will immediately drop out onto the floor. Pick it up and add it to your inventory.
• Find the Flagpole: Turn to your left and walk out onto the ledge to the east. You will quickly spot a dedicated flagpole waiting for the banner.
