The Target: What is a Snitch?

As the name suggests, the Snitch ARC is a mobile, circular surveillance unit. Its primary function is reconnaissance: it constantly scans the environment for threats. If it detects a hostile presence, its core programming dictates immediate action: it calls in three additional ARCs from orbit to reinforce the area.This makes the Snitch a priority target. Killing it quickly prevents an immediate escalation of combat, but strategically utilizing its reinforcement call can turn it into an ARC material goldmine.

Where to Hunt for Snitch ARCs

Snitches are always flying around the map looking for trouble. Whileyou can encounter them anywhere, observation suggests a higherconcentration in specific areas:

• Buried City is the Hotspot: I have consistently encountered many more Snitch ARCs on the Buried City map than on any other available extraction zone. The dense, urbanenvironment seems to be a preferred operational area for thesesurveillance units.

To secure the Snitch Scanners, your primary goal is simple: attack the Snitch, take it down, and loot its chassis. Additionally, you may also discover husks and remains scattered across the maps; these debris piles often contain useful ARC components, including Snitch Scanners.

Targeting Weak Points: The Snitch Takedown Strategy

Successfully killing a Snitch ARC requires precision. While simply unloading roundsinto its main body will work eventually, there is a much faster methodthat can bring the machine down before it has time to escalate theconflict.

The Quick Kill: Targeting the Wings

The Snitch’s core weakness lies in its propulsion and sensor systems—its "wings."

• Identify the Segments: The Snitch is composed of three separate segments (or wings) radiating from its center.
• Locate the "Lightbulbs": Each segment has some sort of glowing component—a "lightbulb" or sensor—attached to it.
• Critical Damage: Destroying two of these three segments will immediately send the Snitch flying out of control, causing it tocrash to its doom extremely quickly. This is the fastest method to takeit out and minimize risk.

The Farming Gambit: Maximizing ARC Materials

If your goal is not just the Snitch Scanner, but also to farm extra general ARC materials for other upgrades, you can use the Snitch's ability against itself.
