Both of the protagonists in Ys X: Nordics have a great number of outfits available to them, which can change their look completely. You'll get a free dress for Karja relatively early in the story. This is the first time the game introduces you to outfits. More clothes will be available later on, but without the downloadable content, you won't have access to them.

There are no stat bonuses from these outfits, but a few of them are incredibly awesome. You can buy some clothes through in-game stores as you progress through the plot, even without the downloadable content.

How To Change Outfits in Ys X Nordics?

Almost all outfits and costumes in the game can be downloaded by means of its downloadable content. The costume DLC you downloaded must first be obtained from the DLC items in your inventory before equipping any. Here are the steps to do so:

Head to the Main Menu by pressing the button.
Head to the Inventory section.
View the DLC tab.

You access the character wardrobe from anywhere, but to trick out your ship, you need to go to a shipwright like Ulvar on Balta Island. For changing how your ship looks, go to a shipwright's shop and follow the steps below:

To change the loadout of the ship, go into the shop menu and select the option.
Go into the Loadout menu.
Scroll all the way down to Adornments.
