It's that time of the year again, and Call of Duty: The Haunting has indeed arrived, bringing a haunting mode in Warzone and so many spooky goodies to uncover.
To get all the free stuff this time around, you'll actually have to complete a few challenges to get everything. Here's how you can earn the "Cloud Watching" camo in Warzone, and all nine awards in Call of Duty's Purgatory Island limited-time event.
On Purgatory Island, the skull symbols are in the top left of your screen, below the mini-map showing the level of Torment. While you still can, continue killing enemy operators or mercenaries to upgrade your Torment. Kills increase your Torment level. Upon death and respawning, your level of Torment will drop back to zero.
This task is of medium level, but it is not hard to understand. The goal is clear here-to survive five minutes long without killing a single soul. In case an angry opponent player detects your presence, the whole process can be blemished.
For this to be certain, you and the teammates must find a safe place where you can stay, undisturbed, for as long as possible. The Bioweapon and the Stronghold Safe Zones should be avoided at all costs if one intends to stay safe.
hands down, the most irritating part of Purgatory Island is acquiring the Terriball. You can find the giant ball of death in numerous open areas, but farming mercenaries while driving around in a vehicle is your best bet. You can either chase them down with your vehicle or else have a friend drive while you fire away. Not complex, just a bit time-consuming.
I can do this easily. Approach other operators, find the Safe Zones at Bioweapons and Stronghold, and then follow the on-screen instruction to give them a pat on the back Square on PS5. Make sure to keep trying until the challenge shows that it's completed because this has to be done to five different operators.
This is another one of those challenges that really doesn't need an explanation; it's just easier to do with a team. Hop into a vehicle to earn this new camo for completing either the rundown of other players or the precise targeting of enemy operators while on the move five times.
Sadly for this challenge, you're going to have to use the Terriball. You can find these in the middle of the map three or four times to take out other players three times per game to win. To do this nicely, you should be lingering around a Terriball, fighting off any foes that get near to you, knocking them to the ground, and shooting the Terriball at them to finish them off.
This one is easy to do and doesn't require much thought. All of Purgatory Island's portals can be found by looking for a black oval icon on your Tac Map. To earn a simple victory, you need only jump into a portal fifteen times.
A flyable version of Shipment is actually that weird-looking tentacle monster zipping around the map. You'll be able to land on it and play it normally, but if you climb up the shipping containers, you'll find a control console inside one of them that you can use to guide the Shipment as you fly it around the map. You'll be allowed to earn the reward by doing this once.
The "Cloud Watching" camo, which rewards completing all of the above challenges, is a sunny overcast day with blue visible and has absolutely nothing to do with the event at large.
In this sense, knowing How to complete all Purgatory Island challenges in Warzone, allows you to face new challenges in the game, try it.
