Literally, fighting zombies in Black Ops 6 is an endless war for survival, and you will need some top-of-the-line weaponry to survive. Well, we are here to help with that, as we have compiled a list of the top weapons in BO6 Zombies.
There are 33 types of weapons in Black Ops 6, and all of them are usable in Zombies, though a few extras-most notably the Ray Gun-get added to the mode. You are, however, not able to start the game with that weapon, unlike some others.
Below are some of our favorites in Black Ops 6 Zombies. We have elected to focus on the armament that you can start with in your loadout rather than the undeniable Wonder weapons or even the Ray Gun.
Being the first assault weapon of Black Ops 6, XM4 does well being a great zombie pickup. As soon as unique loadouts unlock at level four, the XM4 is ready-and it's deadly against zombies.
XM4 just cruises through the early rounds of Zombies due to its large magazine size, high fire rate, and respectable damage. Keep its power up as you level, using the Pack-a-Punch machine-just make sure to upgrade to levels two and three whenever possible.
When you're not cutting through Zombies like a hot knife through butter, pop back to that Pack-a-Punch for the upgrade. At least, in my experience, a level two Pack-a-Punch XM4 was more than enough. I was able to secure my way into the mid-30s with it.
More importantly, Zombies can purchase the XM4 as a wall weapon. You will find it inside the bank in Liberty Falls, and on the ground floor of Terminus-near the Melee Macchiato Perk-a-Cola-you can buy the XM4.
Finally, following in the steps of the favorite Mustang and Sally combo from last year comes the GS45 Akimbo in Black Ops 6. They turn into Sally and Forth when Pack-a-Punched, dealing a ton of explosive damage, making PHD Flopper Perk an absolute must-have.
Unfortunately, the GS45 isn't available until level 28, which is kind of a bummer. Plus, you have a long way to go before you can get the Akimbo Stock, which isn't available until you level 31 with the GS45.
It pays off, really, since the GS45 Akimbo will make quick work of big trains of zombies and can spawn crawlers to assist you in surviving between rounds when you're low on Aether for upgrades.
Save your Aether for the GS45-a purchaseable weapon from the wall in Liberty Falls and Terminus-but without the Akimbo Stock.
Long in service to Call of Duty players in battling hordes of zombies, shotguns have been a favorite weapon. The fully automated firing system of the ASG-89 takes this a step further by not requiring the pumping of the trigger between shots.
But since it is available only at level 31, you will have to invest a little time in grinding to get the ASG-89. However, the moment one lays hands on it, it is the go-to weapon for completing the initial couple of rounds of Zombies in record time.
The damage, of course, decreases naturally as the rounds go harder, but this can be fixed by upgrading it with the Pack-a-Punch machine. With the Pack-a-Punch attached to it, you should have no problem easily making it to later rounds with the ASG-89.
Like some of the other guns on this list, the ASG-89 is available to purchase from the wall in both Liberty Falls and Terminus. You'll find the ASG-89 at the Stamin-Up Perk-a-Cola in Terminus and it is in the Grease Trap Patio in Liberty Falls.
To be quite successful on Zombies-especially on later routes-you want a combination of a fast movement speed, the ability to reload quickly, and be able to do an exorbitant amount of damage. This one has spades of each.
Just like the XM4, the C9 is available in Black Ops 6 as an early access weapon when you eventually attain level four with custom loadouts. Once you have it, you can easily wipe out swarms of zombies.
You might be thinking that the C9 is going to be even more powerful Pack-a-Punched, and with the helping hand of custom loadout features such as extended mags and faster ADS time, it should go right to the top tier of the best weapons in Zombies.
The rest are located in Liberty Falls just outside the ice cream shop and at Terminus just south of the Stamin-Up Perk-a-Cola and north of Juggernog where you can purchase the C9 off the wall.
The AK-74 is super popular with zombies, and it's available on level 10 within Black Ops 6. On a personal note, however, I prefer XM4. Frankly speaking, the only reason I've made it this far is because I have all of the camos for that weapon.
Like the XM4, the AK-74 has a great big magazine and quick rate of fire paired with some very high damage. Of course, with Pack-a-Punch and extra Perks such as Speed Cola, these become much more potent.
If you're looking to get a decent weapon in-game, the AK-74 is wall-mounted in Liberty Falls on Hill Street and Terminus northeast of PHD Flopper.
If you like chunky machine guns, the XMG stands in a class of its own. The XMG, which unlocks on level 13, boasts massive size in terms of its magazine and very high damage, though it does have some drawbacks, as one might expect from a weapon of this size.
Due to the huge magazine, the reload periods will be pretty long-so you absolutely need Speed Cola. You should also have Stamin-Up because you will even be more agile with it. And remember, of course, the Pack-a-Punch if possible each time for huge damage boosts.
You'll be able to buy the XMG from a wall on both Zombies maps and is a great secondary to carry later on in any given match if you have enough Perk-a-Colas. The XMG is located in the cemetery near the church in Liberty Falls and on Castle Rock Island in Terminus.
