Before you can accept this quest, you must:
Complete the Wisdom Puzzle side quest in Xion.
Progress through the main story until you unlock Matrix 11.
Once these conditions are met, check the Bulletin Board in Xion to pick up the request. The quest involves retrieving a cure for Mysterious Sand Disease, a condition caused by contaminated sand in the Great Desert.
There are two possible routes to obtain the medicine, depending on your progress in Matrix 11:
If you’ve already cleared Matrix 11, follow these steps for a quick retrieval:
Fast Travel to Atless Levoire Entrance in the Wasteland.
Speak to Adam to return to the Matrix 11 entrance.
Use the Fast Travel phone inside Matrix 11 to reach the Hideout in the Temporary Armory Entrance.
Take the nearby elevator up to the next level.
Move toward the small camp area—the medicine is on a wooden display unit near a yellow ladder.
Grab it and return to the Bulletin Board to complete the quest.
If this is your first time in Matrix 11, the journey will be longer:
Progress through the linear tunnels of Matrix 11.
Flood the sewers to advance (required for main story progression).
Defeat The Stalker, an Alpha Nayteba enemy.
Counter and dodge its melee strikes.
Use Shield Breaker Beta attacks and Burst skills (like Tempest) to break its defenses.
After the battle, proceed to the Abandoned Settlement.
Turn left at the ladder—the medicine is on a wooden stand.
