Navigating the open world of San Vansterdam in EA's Skate is a core part of the experience, but a frustrating bug has been reported by many players: the "Map Bug." This issue prevents objectives from appearing on the map, making it nearly impossible to progress through the game's missions and challenges. Normally, when you select an objective in Skate, a starting location is highlighted on your map. You then travel to this location to begin the challenge. The Map Bug causes this starting point to disappear, leaving players with no clear way to find or start the objective. This can effectively halt your progression.

Potential Fixes for the Map Bug

Since there's no official patch for this issue, these solutions maynot work for every player. However, many have reported success withthem.

Teleport to a Friend: This is a widely suggested fix that often resolves the issue.

• Open the Social Tab from the game's main menu.
• Select a friend who is currently in the game.
• Use the "Teleport to Player" option. This will spawn you near your friend.
• After teleporting, check your map to see if the objective's starting location has reappeared.

Restart the Game: A simple but sometimes effective solution is to completely close the game and relaunch it.

• Exit the game and close the application from your console or PC's dashboard.
• Relaunch Skate and check the map to see if the objectives are now visible.

Repair the Game Files: For PC players, repairing the game files through the EA App can sometimes fix corrupted data that might be causing the bug.
