How to Play with Friends & Fix Cross-Play Errors in Skate 4

Skate, the highly anticipated skateboarding game from Full Circle, is currently in its early access phase, allowing players to dive into the world of digital skateboarding. With its public, online multiplayer environment, it's easy to jump in and start playing, but connecting with your friends requires a few specific steps. This guide will walk you through how to team up with your friends and troubleshoot common cross-play issues.

How to Play Skate with Friends

The main way to play with friends in Skate is through Party Mode. To start, you'll need to add your friends to your in-game friends list.

• Add Friends: To send a friend request, open the Hub menu by pressing ESC on PC, or the equivalent button on your console controller. Navigate to the Social & Spectate tab and select the search option. Enter your friend's EA ID and send a friend request. If you don't know their EA ID, they can find it on their own profile within the Social & Spectate menu. Once they accept, they'll appear in your friends list.
• Create a Party: After your friends are online and in your friends list, press left on the D-pad to open the Social & Spectate menu. Find your friend's profile under the "Friends" tab and select Invite to Party. Once they accept, they will instantly teleport to your location. You can also join their party by selecting "Join Party" from their profile.
• Party Limits: Each party in Skate can support up to four players. The game's lobbies are public, so other players can join your session, but only four can be in your specific party. If you want to swap a player, one person will need to leave the party before another can join.

Cross-Platform & Cross-Progression

Skate fully supports cross-platform play andcross-progression. . This means players on different platforms—PC, PS4,PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X—can play together in the samelobbies. Additionally, your game data, including your character'sprogress and customization, will be accessible across any of theseplatforms as long as you are logged in with your EA account.

While Skate has full cross-play support, some players may experience issues whentrying to invite or join friends. If you're encountering problems,consider the following troubleshooting steps:

• Check Your Settings: Make sure that cross-play is enabled in your game's General Settings. This feature is typically turned on by default, but it's worth checking to see if it's been disabled. On Xbox, your cross-play settings arealso determined by your console's privacy settings.
