As you progress through the dungeon's branching paths, keep a close eye on the node choices presented to you before entering the next room. Youare specifically looking for a node that is marked with a Hammer icon. This is your guaranteed signal that the Blacksmith is in that chamber.
Step 2: Secure Your Perk and Locate the Exit
Once inside the Blacksmith's room, your first action should be to interactwith him and choose one of his temporary combat perks. After that, it'stime to search for the exit. The room layout is randomized, so lookcarefully for a path that leads to a wooden platform. This platform often looks like a distinct bridge or ledge leading awayfrom the main chamber and will transport you to a green, swirlingportal. Interact with this portal to proceed.
Step 3: Master the Platforming Challenge
You will now be transported to a special challenge area filled withplatforming sections and traps. This sequence tests your timing andpatience. You will encounter two primary types of obstacles:
- Spike Traps: These are the simpler hazards. You can safely cross any length ofspikes by simply rolling over them. Remember, your character hasunlimited rolls, so feel free to spam the roll button to cross thesesections safely.
- Wind Blowers: These traps are more dangerous. They emit gusts of wind that can knockyou off the platforms, causing fall damage. The key here is patience. Wait for the blower to turn off (you'll see and hear it deactivate)before quickly moving past it. Keep a close watch on your health barduring this section and don't hesitate to use a health potion if youmake a mistake.
Step 4: Claim Your Reward
Successfully navigating this gauntlet will lead you to a treasure chest. Inside, you will find a Scroll. This is not the final weapon, but the blueprint for it. The scroll unlocks the recipe for "The Vow," a powerful new weapon.
What to Do After Finding the Treasure
Your quest is complete as soon as you pick up the scroll. There is no needto return and speak with Eris; the game will automatically recognizeyour success. To get your new weapon, simply return to the main hub town and visit the Blacksmith's forge. You can now craft "The Vow" using the required materials gathered from your dungeon runs.
