How to Unlock the Garb of the Pilgrims Quest
Your journey to acquire the Garb begins after a significant early-game achievement: defeating the Bell Beast. Once this formidable foe is conquered, make your way back to the Bone Bottom safe area. Here, you will find the Wishwall, which now features four new quests available for you to accept. One of these is the Garb of the Pilgrims quest, which will set you on a mission to gather 12 Pilgrim Shawls.
What Are Pilgrim Shawls and How to Find Them
Pilgrim Shawls are unique dropped items obtained by defeating the wandering Pilgrim enemies scattered across Pharloom. These distinct, robe-clad foes are more aggressive than common bugs. You'll encounter two primary types:
- Melee Pilgrims: These adversaries are highly mobile, leaping around to apply constant pressure.
- Ranged Pilgrims: They prefer to keep their distance, firing projectiles and retreating to avoid your attacks.
While you will naturally collect some Shawls by simply progressing through the main story, dedicated farming is the fastest way to complete the quest.
The Best Pilgrim Shawl Farming Location in Silksong
For the most efficient farming route, head to the area known as Mosshome. This region is densely populated with Pilgrim-type enemies, making it the ideal spot to gather your Shawls.
A key advantage of farming in Mosshome is the conveniently placed Bench right near the entrance. By resting at this Bench, you can quickly reset all the enemies in thearea, allowing for a rapid and efficient farming loop. Simply defeat all the Pilgrims in the vicinity, rest at the Bench to respawn them, andrepeat the process until you have all 12 Pilgrim Shawls.
