• Donating to quests, like Bone Bottom Repairs (requires 200 Shell Shards).
• Crafting gear and upgrading certain Tools.
• Unlocking vendor stock in some zones.

Shell Shards drop from:

• Enemies (small silver triangles alongside Rosaries).
• Environmental caches (shiny rocks, ropes, or embedded textures).
• Tool-enhanced farming (e.g., Shard Pendant increases drop rate).

🎒 How to Increase Shell Shard Capacity and Tool Ammo

Hornet starts with a 400 Shell Shard cap and limited ammo for each Tool. To increase both, players must acquire Tool Pouch upgrades.

• Location: Loddie’s arena in The Marrow.
• Challenge: Hit 15 targets with thrown pins.
• Reward: Second Tool Pouch upgrade.

This upgrade further increases Hornet’s Shell Shard capacity and adds more ammo slots for Tools like Longpin and Straight Pin—especiallyuseful for boss fights and multi-enemy encounters.
