How to get All Ningi in Shinobi Art of Vengeance

In the new Metroidvania-style action game Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, stylish combat is only one part of the experience. To fully explore every corner of its beautifully designed levels and uncover all of its secrets, you will need to acquire a set of special tools and abilities known as Ningi. These traversal tools are essential for reaching otherwise-inaccessible areas and even provide unique advantages in combat.This guide will break down all seven Ningi, their locations, and how they will help you on your journey of vengeance.

All Ningi and Their Locations

There are a total of seven Ningi in the game. Two are given to you very early on as part of the tutorial, and the rest are found as you progress through specific missions. While the main story is linear, you will often need to backtrack to previous levels to find secrets once you have a new Ningi.

Item/Ability	Location	Description
Dash	Oboro Village	A swift dash that can be performed on the ground or in mid-air. Used to cross small gaps and pass through enemies.
Ninja Flip	Oboro Village	An acrobatic move that allows you to flip past enemies after hitting them with a dash.
Ninja Claws	The Mountain	Allows you to climb and hang onto special walls and ceilings marked by a glowing, yellow indicator.
Cannon Punch	Lantern Festival	A charged punch that shatters vertical Yokai Barrier walls. It also heavily damages enemy armor and shields.
Ninja Hook	Neo City	Throws a hook to propel you toward special grapple anchors found floating in the air.
Sword Dive	Submarine Base	A powerful mid-air dive attack that smashes through horizontal Yokai Barrier walls and deals heavy damage to armor and enemy Execution Gauges.
Glider	The Desert	Unfurls a glider that slows your descent, allowing you to float over long distances and travel through air currents.

Tips for Using Your Ningi

The Ningi are not just for traversal; they are also powerful tools forcombat. Understanding how to use them effectively will be the key toyour success.

• Cannon Punch: This ability is invaluable for dealing with armored enemies, whosearmor bars will regenerate if not destroyed quickly. It is your primarytool for breaking through enemy defenses and leaving them vulnerable to a finishing blow.
• Sword Dive: While it can be used for breaking through floor barriers, the SwordDive is also a devastating offensive move. It is particularly effectiveagainst enemies with high health, as it deals significant damage totheir Execution Gauge, allowing you to perform a quick finisher.
• The Importance of Backtracking: Many of the game's secrets, hidden collectibles, and optional challenge rooms (Ankou Rifts) are locked behind Ningi you won't get until later in the game. It is highly recommended to wait until you have the Sword Dive from the Submarine Base before attempting to revisit earlier levels, as many secrets are hidden behind the horizontal floor barriers that onlythis ability can destroy.
