A new hero has joined Ravenswatch huge roster as the game celebrates its 1.0 launch, following nearly a year of early access. You get to unlock nine different characters in this co-op rogue-lite adventure, each with their own unique set of actions, skills, and clothing. While it may take some time and understanding of current characters to unlock each hero, we've got you covered. All of the heroes in Ravenswatch 1.0 can be unlocked in this way.
How to Unlock Each Hero in Ravenswatch
Each of Ravenswatch nine heroes hails from a different legendary figure, folktale, or classic fairy tale. There aren't any secret sections or difficult challenges to overcome to get to them, and unlocking them is a breeze.
Ravenswatch offers a diverse roster of playable heroes, each with unique abilities and playstyles. To access the full cast, you'll need to complete specific challenges.
- Starting Lineup: Scarlet, The Pied Piper, Beowulf, and The Snow Queen are immediately available to all players. These characters provide a solid foundation for exploring the game's world and mechanics.
- Unlocking Additional Heroes: To unlock Aladdin, Melusine, Gepetto, Sun Wukong, and Carmilla, you must successfully complete Chapter 1 using the designated characters. For instance, to unlock Carmilla, you'll need to finish Chapter 1 with either Aladdin, Melusine, Gepetto, or Sun Wukong.
This progression system encourages players to experiment with different heroes and strategies, rewarding those who invest time and effort into the game. By unlocking new characters, you'll gain access to new abilities, weapons, and playstyles, making each playthrough a unique and rewarding experience.
The color scarlet
- Condition to Begin: 100
- Personality: lycanthrope
- No prerequisite to unlock
If you beat Chapter 1 while using Scarlet, one of the four starting heroes, you'll unlock Aladdin. At night, she assumes the shape of a werewolf, gaining access to new powers bestowed upon her by the Lycanthrope trait. Fast on her feet and equipped with a variety of swift blows, she may close in on an opponent and chain a number of dagger slashes. Her wolf form also grants her the ability to bite, claw, and leap beyond her foes.
Percy Priebe
- Condition to Begin: 80
- Attribute: Pest
- No prerequisite to unlock
The Pied Piper attacks opponents from a distance by playing his flute magically. Even though he isn't the most damaging character to begin with, his ranged combat makes him easy to control and lets him safely attack from a distance. On top of that, he has the ability to call in a swarm of up to twenty rats to accompany him at all times; he may even direct them to eliminate adversaries.
King Beowulf
- You start with 120 health.
- Enduring Wyrm
- No prerequisite to unlock
Beowulf is the third default hero and one of the hardest hitting characters in the roster. With each slow but devastating blow, his enormous sword slices through his enemies. By enlisting the help of his Wyrm, he can increase his strength, defense, and unique abilities. Beowulf is a melee-focused warrior who becomes an absolute damage machine when you consistently buff him with Wyrm.
A Winter Wonderland Princess

- Ice Crown is a trait.
- No prerequisite to unlock
A swift and agile character with great mobility, the Snow Queen can do damage from a distance. She may not deal as much damage as the other playable characters, but she has the ability to freeze adversaries in place, slowing them down by more than 40%. One of the greatest characters to bring into co-op is her Ice Crown feature, which allows her to shatter CHILLED foes.
Prince Aladdin
- Condition to Begin: 100
- Importance: Jinniya's Lamp
- To unlock this, you must finish Chapter 1 with Scarlet.
While the run begins with Aladdin being quite weak, he gradually becomes one of the game's strongest characters. He can increase his strength, special abilities, or defense thanks to his Jinniya of the Lamp characteristic. He can swiftly land many hits in melee combat, resulting in an area of effect, and with the Ring Jinn power, he can summon a Jinn that deals immense damage and gains increased range and damage when held. His bonuses can be divided among team members, making him an excellent teammate.
Madame Melusine
- Initial Condition: 90%
- Attribute: Call of Iris
- You must finish Chapter 1 of The Pied Piper in order to unlock this content.
Due to her special ability, Siren's Call, Melusine is among the most difficult Ravenswatch characters to handle. She moves between the attacking SING stance and the moving MOVE stance on a regular basis. Positioning is crucial when playing as this character because she is vulnerable to incoming damage while in the SING stance because she can't move.
As a defensive move, she can plunge into a pool of water and become temporarily intangible. Thanks to the Wisp's capacity to target several targets, Melusine has the potential to do catastrophic damage with enough skill.
The Goblin King
- Condition to Begin: 80
- Property: dummy
- Requirement to Unlock: Finish Chapter 1 with Beowulf
Thanks to his Dummy trait, Geppetto is undeniably one of the game's most entertaining characters. His dummies can launch attacks, divert attention, and even explode—and he can construct up to three of them simultaneously. Using his unique Cogsplosion, Geppetto may heal his dummies and destroy opponents nearby.
Summoning a gigantic Puppet that causes massive damage and hits everything in sight is possible with this Meca-Puppet Ultimate. This strategy is perfect for you if you enjoy playing with minions.
Wokong Sun
- Initial Condition: 110
- Ability: Taiji
- In order to unlock this, you must finish Chapter 1 with The Snow Queen.
Contrast Sun Wukong with Black Myth's Destined One. Another figure with dual stances who can transition between Yang and Yin is Wukong. Because his Yin moods grant all heroes 15 shield for 6 seconds the perfect amount of time to weather a storm—he is the ideal cooperative character.
While Yang is active, his damage is amplified by 100%, but he also suffers 100% more damage. This makes him a challenging character to work with, particularly at the beginning of the game. Since Empty Palm protects him from strikes for half a second, using it becomes crucial. Before you go into Sun Wukong, it's best to gain a feel for the boss and enemy attack patterns in Ravenswatch with other characters.
Carmilla
- Condition to Begin: 100
- Aptness: Dhampir
- Chapter 1 must be completed with either Sun Wukong, Aladdin, Melusine, or Gepetto in order to unlock the item.
Carmilla, a vampire who gains power from Blood, is the newest addition to Ravenswatch cast. Even while she deals a lot of damage, her Blood resource which, when depleted, is refilled by her health can be quickly used up, making her something of a glass cannon.
She incorporates resource management into her playstyle in this way. Using her Blood-consuming skills in conjunction with Tearing and Death Kiss, which both grant her access to additional Blood, may make her a formidable hero who is incredibly satisfying to master.
As of the 1.0 release, these are the only heroes available in Ravenswatch. Mastering each hero and unlocking their unique abilities and skins may keep you occupied for dozens of hours, and there's a wide array of playstyles to choose from.
In conclusion, knowing How to Unlock Each Hero in Ravenswatch is interesting because it allows us to develop and have more fun in this busy game.
