In this guide post we explain everything about How to Beat Kupolovrax in Project Tower.
Project Tower players have a hard time with the boss Kupolovrax. The fans will probably die a lot trying to neutralize this enemy's projectile-based attack. Defeating Kupolovrax in Project Tower is doable, but this tutorial will show you how to do it more easily.
It seems that Kupolovrax is designed to have players shoot into its lit portions, yet it seems that shots that hit the foe's carapace also deal some damage.
How to Beat Kupolovrax in Project Tower?
Standing on the platform, Kupolovrax launches his attacks; players simply have to stand their grounds, fire repeatedly at it and use the following methods to dodge them:
- As part of this attack, Kupolovrax summons a cascade of orb rings that fall from the edges of the platform down toward the center. Players will need to watch as the rings fall and time a dodge roll just as one of the orbs hits the ground where they're standing.
- This attack is quite similar to the orb ring fall, except instead of the projectiles forming a ring they become scattered. Fans of third-person shooters may easily strafe around them as they fall, making this setup even easier to avoid than the rings. If you're ever in danger of being hit by an orb, the dodge roll is your best bet.
- The trickier of the two to avoid during Phase 1 is the Orb Line Push, where Kupolovrax shoots many orb lines directly into the player. Players can dodge the orbs by strafing left and right into the gaps, but they could have more luck waiting for the first line to approach, dodging ahead, and then dashing forward.
- Stomp: Occasionally, Kupolovrax will stomp and send a shockwave forth. It is trivially easy for any fan of bullet hell to jump over it, and can even continue to shoot the enemy while performing this maneuver.
Phase 2
Kupolovrax flies up into the air when close to 66%, and fans of morphing mechanic games may take it upon themselves to keep their space, gun, and aforementioned technique manipulations with regards to its projectiles open:
- Kupolovrax unleashes a barrage of orbs into the air, scattering them in all directions and falling to the ground with gradual slowing. Due to slow speed, players can easily avoid these orbs with strafing into gaps, keeping their attention to the sky.
- With this attack, Kupolovrax moves several orb rings forward that will eventually engulf the player. The best way to avoid it, according to aficionados of independent games, is to hold position until the orbs are sure to reach you. Then, dodge roll to the left or right.
- Like the first orb line push, players can dodge this again by simply waiting for the first line to approach, rolling forward into a dodge then rushing in in an instant. Another way to do this is by rolling left or right to dodge the first line, then running in the other direction.
Section 3
Phase 3 starts at around 33% health, and it is very similar to Phase 2. Fans of 3D action games should try to deplete the enemy's health while being mindful of the modified attack of the latter:
- The three stages that make up the Modified Orb Ring Push attack are as follows: first, a barrage of rings that encircle the player, then two rapid ring pushes, and last, orb rings that fall to the ground. Hold your position until the rings are about to hit you, then dodge roll to the left to avoid it. Fans of platforming puzzle games should immediately run right to avoid the two speed rings and just keep walking forward to avoid the falling orbs.
Now that you know How to Beat Kupolovrax in Project Tower, you can follow this step-by-step guide and take him down.
