I. Finding Armadillos:
Armadillos inhabit warm biomes and spawn in groups of two or three. They have a defensive mechanism: when approached quickly, they roll into a tight ball. Therefore, approach them slowly and carefully to avoid triggering this reaction.Armadillos spawn in the following biomes:
- Badlands
- Eroded Badlands
- Savanna
- Savanna Plateau
- Windswept Savanna
- Wooded Badlands
II. Obtaining Armadillo Scutes:
There are two methods for collecting Armadillo Scutes:
A. Passive Collection (Waiting):
Just like chickens laying eggs, Armadillos will periodically drop a Scute every 5-10 minutes. This method requires no tools or effort from the player, but it can be slow, especially if you need a large number of Scutes quickly.
B. Active Collection (Brushing):
Brushing is the most efficient way to collect Scutes. You'll need a Brush, crafted with a Feather, a Copper Ingot, and a Stick, arranged in that order down the center row of the Crafting Table.
III. Crafting Wolf Armor:
Once you have collected the required number of Armadillo Scutes (six Scutes per suit of Wolf Armor), you can craft the armor at a Crafting Table.
IV. Choosing Your Method:
- Brushing: Brushing is the recommended method for actively gathering a large number of Scutes quickly. Craft multiple Brushes to speed up the process.
- Waiting: The passive method is suitable if you only need a few Scutes and are not in a hurry.
