How to carve a pumpkin in Minecraft?

You must first have a pumpkin in your inventory. In case you don't have one here we will tell you how to get it.

How to get a pumpkin

Pumpkins spawn naturally in many different biomes and you can occasionally see them on village farms. You can also get pumpkin seeds in chests that you can find in dungeons, mine shafts, or other pre-spawned structures. To grow a pumpkin from seed, you must have an open space next to where the seeds were planted.

Carving process

If you found or grew your own pumpkin you can carve it directly into the ground, you don't need a work table. You just have to use curtains and chop the pumpkin in the same way that you would with a sheep. Once you've sheared your pumpkin, two eyes and a wavy mouth will appear on your now-carved pumpkin. You will also receive a stack of four pumpkin seeds.

You can wear it as a decoration or even wear it on your head. Wearing a carved pumpkin on your head will partially block your vision, but will also prevent you from making eye contact with the Endermans.

On the other hand, if you are decorating with pumpkins, you can also light one with a torch. Place a torch on the bottom row of your workbench, and then place the carved pumpkin directly on top. This will allow you to create a Jack O'Lantern that will turn yellow inside and the block will emit light at level 15

Now that you know how to carve a pumpkin in Minecraft you can create a perfect look for the month of Halloween with a good horror pumpkin.
