Fear not, dear reader! We've got this! If you're to progress with the game, you'll have to destroy the portals in Kingdom Two Crowns. Here's how to do it.
How to destroy portals in Kingdom Two Crowns
Kingdom Two Crowns is all about destroying portals. The whole campaign is designed around that very concept and so are the runs. Unless you destroy them, the portals will constantly allow the Greed inside your base to damage your ramparts and buildings, steal your gold, and generally ruin your hard work. Thankfully, destroying portals in Kingdom Two Crowns does not require too much fuss and is fully achievable with only a small squad of Squires and a handful of Archers. These units-although different looking from expansion pack to expansion pack-have the same purpose.
The easiest are Archers, since those can be bought from the bow dealer at the first campfire. Once the campfire gets an upgrade to hold four bows at a time, the seller moves slightly to the side so recruits pick them up and become archers.
However, if you are a Squire or Knight, you will need Stone to upgrade your campfire to Castle Keep level. In the Castle Keep, you have the ability to purchase Shields where you can recruit Squires and Knights once you have leveled up. Knights have groups of archers who follow them wherever they go about their business.
From your base defenses, you are able to command groups of Squires and Archers to assault a gateway. Off the flag, for four gold pieces each, you can place a number of these out at a time. Assuming your card play is correct, the Squires shield the Archers and distract them as they shot the gateway to death. Since portals do not regenerate health, the damage is permanent. Therefore, you needn't be concerned with how long it'll take. Fair warning, however: portals don't go down without a fight, especially if your Archers miss their marks or get too distracted by a little greed.
how to destroy cliff portals?
Cliff Portals will require a small something called Bomb to destroy them. Once you have Iron and have upgraded your base to the Iron Keep, which is the maximum level, it will be unlocked. Once you've upgraded your outer walls to the maximum level, a Forge will spawn. You can hire Builders to carry the Bomb from the Iron Keep and purchase Swords, upgrading Squires into Knights to defend it from the Forge, more commonly known as the Smithy. To have the greatest effect, make sure you are accompanied by many Archers, as well as the Knights and the Builders carrying bombs.
Once you've negotiated the enemies and the sticky webs that appear like portals, you'll get to light the fuse and blow up a bomb within the gateway itself. You should be running quickly, because getting hit by the explosion will end your sprint in an instant, and you definitely don't want that right now, do you?
