Herb Paris is a notoriously difficult-to-find alchemy ingredient in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Its low growth and tendency to be obscured by other vegetation make it nearly impossible to spot without prior knowledge of its locations. While its purplish-red flower might seem like a helpful indicator, it's often hidden from view. Fortunately, herbalists and apothecaries typically stock Herb Paris, providing a reliable alternative if foraging proves too challenging.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: How to Get Herb Paris
Herb Paris can be found in several locations across the KCD 2 map. Here are some early-game spots:
Herbalist Barnaby's Garden: This is a reliable early source.
Stream near Tachov: Directly south of Tachov, a small stream flows south. At the location indicated in the screenshot [screenshot not included in the original text], a large fallen log blocks the stream. Just to its left is a moss-covered rock and another log. A patch of green bushes between these two logs conceals several Herb Paris plants.
Nameless Spring: East of Bozhena's Meadow and west of Zhelejov lies the Nameless Spring. A white cloth-covered basket there contains 21 Belladonna and 16 Herb Paris. To find it, head east from Bozhena’s house into the woods toward the stream flowing north. Follow it upstream (south) to its source, where the basket is located.
Traveling by horseback can significantly speed up travel in KCD 2. A free horse can be acquired during the side quest "The Jaunt."
Buying Herb Paris
Herb Paris can be purchased from most herbalists and apothecaries.
Apothecary Emerich (Troskowitz): Located west of town, next to a large herb garden. Emerich is on the second floor during the day but only sells dried Herb Paris.
Herbalist Barnaby: Barnaby, found north of Trosky Castle, stocks fresh Herb Paris.
