In the vibrant world of Infinity Nikki, the highly anticipated 1.8 seasonal update introduces players to Danqing Island, a stunning new region. This area is packed with fresh content, including new quests, lore, fashion, and unique wildlife. To engage with the new crafting systems and outfits, players will need to gather new materials, such as Fan Feathers.This guide explains how to find and use Fan Feathers on Danqing Island.

Infinity Nikki: How to Get Fan Feather

Fan Feathers are a resource material exclusive to the Danqing Island region. They are obtained from a specific creature: the Fan Egret.

Locate the Fan Egret: Fan Egrets are tall, elegant birds that can be found roaming around the island, especially near sources of water. They are a docile species and will not flee from you as you approach.

Equip the Animal Grooming Outfit: To obtain the feathers, you must approach a Fan Egret and equip your Animal Grooming ability outfit.

Groom the Egret: Interact with the Fan Egret to groom it. This process is straightforward and will reward you with 1x Fan Feather and your usual Animal Grooming Insight points.

Using the In-Game Map to Find Fan Egrets

If you're having trouble locating a Fan Egret, you can use the game's built-in tracker:

Open your in-game map.

Select the tracker icon in the bottom-left corner.

Navigate to the pawprint icon to browse the animal materials you can track.

Select Fan Feather. The map will then pinpoint the nearest Fan Egret spawn location for you. As you groom each one, the map will update to show you the next closest location.

Remember that Fan Egrets, like other groomable animals, respawn after everydaily server reset, so you can farm this resource over time.

How to Use Fan Feathers

Fan Feathers are primarily used for crafting a specific piece of clothing.

• Crafting the Echo of Mist Socks: Fan Feathers are a key component for crafting the Echo of Mist socks, a Rare Piece clothing item.
• Finding the Sketch: To get the recipe, you must first find the sketch for the Echo of Mist socks inside a Diamond Chest. This chest is located on one of the upper balconies of the Loong Pagoda building on Danqing Island. You will need to use your Danqing Craft ability outfit to manifest umbrellas and kites, which will help you reach the chest.
• Required Materials: Once you have the sketch, you will need the following materials to craft the socks:
  • 20x Fan Feathers
  • 3x Bedrock Crystal (Tumble)
  • 30x Threads of Purity

Alternative Method: In-Game Store

If you have a surplus of Surging Ebb resonance points, you can use them to purchase Fan Feathers directly from the in-gamestore. However, these points are quite rare, so it is recommended to use them wisely.
