Strategies for Conquering Deepest Sleep Incantation
Even after installing the Olympic Update, the End To Deepest Slumber incantation will not be unlocked immediately when you log into Hades 2. To have End To Deepest Slumber available in your Cauldron, you need to accomplish two things: first, try to gift Hypnos nectar twice; and second, get at least one Poppy.
- You can get nectar in a number of places, both in the underworld and on the surface, including the Shop with Bones, or by incanting the Golden Apple To Nectar.
- Tartarus, the fourth and last zone before encountering Chronos, is the only place you can find Poppy Seeds. If you want to increase your odds of finding poppy seeds while running, bring the shovel.
- Once you've fulfilled these two conditions, consult Hypnos whenever you return to the Crossroads until Melinoë suggests trying out this Incantation. Return to the Cauldron (whenever Hecate isn't utilizing it) to retrieve the End To Deepest Slumber Incantation.
Getting Dream Vapors and Wake Hypnosis Started
To make the Dream Vapors item, you need three Poppy flowers, two Mandrake flowers, and one Moly flower from the End To Deepest Slumber Incantation.
- Plant three times as many poppy seeds in your garden after harvesting them in Tartarus, the last zone of the underworld path. Get two Mandrake Seeds in the second zone of the surface path, the Rift of Thessaly, and sow them in your Garden.
- Fruit harvest Encountering 1x Moly in Erebus, the initial zone on the underworld path
- Finish off the Run (or give a unique item to any NPC) to kill time and watch your plants flourish. Return to the Crossroads, select End To Deepest Slumber after gathering Poppy and Mandrake (and ensuring you have 1x Moly). To trigger the House of Hades flashback sequence, visit Hypnos after obtaining your Dream Vapors and give them to him as a gift.
