With our help you will see that knowing Hades 2: How To Get To Olympus is easier than you think.
A god-awful lot of new material has been added to Hades 2 with the Olympic Update, the biggest update since the Early Access launch. This includes both major features like new Gods and Boons and smaller ones like the Crossroads Renovation system. As the update's nickname suggests, the new Olympus zone is Hades 2's most notable addition.
Until the Olympic Update, gamers couldn't enter the mythological home of the gods atop Mount Olympus, but that is no longer the case. In this guide, you will learn the fundamentals of getting to Olympus in Hades 2, as well as what new stuff you may anticipate to find there.
If you would prefer not to have any details about the new Olympic Update content in Hades 2 revealed before you play, you can skip this part and find out how to unlock Olympus and its features on your own. This overview is rather light on spoilers, though.
Upon entering this new zone, the most noticeable change to the Olympus content is the introduction of a new enemy type: Automatons. These robots are tasked with protecting Olympus against enemies such as Chronos' troops. The Automatons have betrayed Melinoë, forcing her to fight her way up Mount Olympus.
In Olympus, you'll encounter not one but two new minibosses, each with its own distinct set of moves that distinguish them apart from the other monsters in the game and will demand a different approach to defeat.
The last boss of the Olympus zone is a character who has been teased in previous areas in Hades 2, and you'll meet them at the end of the zone. If Melinoë isn't ready for a boss mechanism that demands her to memorize patterns and avoid huge zones of impact, fighting this frightening Titan will be a challenging fight.
The patch notes and video for the Hades 2 Olympic Update hinted at two new Allies that could be encountered somewhere in Olympus. Not only that, but you're not limited to Olympus when it comes to recruiting the two new Familiars. You can find these two new Familiars in various places on Earth and in the Underworld.
Two new Gods, both returning favorites from the original Hades, are among the other notable additions that can be found once you reach Olympus. Players who have played the original game will recognize these two deities because they have kept most of their Boons but have had their gameplay tweaked slightly.
In order to reach Olympus, you need to depart from the Crossroads using the Surface path and make your way through the first zone, Ephyrea, and the second, the Rift of Thessaly. A boss named Eris will stand in your way toward the finish of the Rift of Thessaly zone.
Olympus was just beyond this boss fight until the Olympic Update for Hades 2 came along. During the initial months of Early Access, we were able to reach nearly the end of the underground route, but we were unable to access the surface route.
However, you can move forward and unlock the Olympus zone when you fight Eris in Hades 2. You will not be able to proceed to the last section of the Surface route in Hades 2 until a future update is made available in the Early Access, although this is the third zone and you will be able to battle its last boss.
This presupposes that the surface map will have identical four zones to the Underworld map. With more than four zones (or the ability to unlock a final, final zone upon finishing both halves), players have a lot to look forward to for the rest of the Early Access period.
That's all for Hades 2: How To Get To Olympus, just follow the instructions to continue your progress in this amazing game.
