Peyote Plants were first introduced in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Diamond Casino & Resort update in 2019. These hallucinogenic plants appear seasonally, allowing players to transform into various animals—both on land and underwater. Peyote Plants spawn in specific locations across San Andreas, often near bodies of water or submerged beneath them. Here’s a complete list of known spawn points:

When you consume a Peyote Plant, your character will pass out and respawn as a random animal. The type of creature depends on the plant’s location—underwater Peyotes yield sea creatures, while land-based ones turn you into terrestrial animals.

Two unique transformations exist under specific conditions:
Chop (Franklin’s Dog) – Consume the Peyote Plant at the Clinton residence.
Sasquatch – Eat the Peyote Plant at Mount Chiliad between 3:30 AM and 8:30 AM during foggy weather.
After consuming a Peyote Plant, you can end the transformation manually at any time.
If you die while transformed, you’ll respawn at the nearest hospital with 5,000 RP as a reward.
Each Peyote Plant respawns after 24 in-game hours (48 minutes in real time).
Underwater Peyotes increase your chances of becoming a sea creature.
Use a submarine or scuba gear to easily locate submerged plants.
Check back seasonally, as Rockstar sometimes removes or reintroduces Peyote Plants in updates.
