In the Shattered Veil map of Black Ops 6 Zombies, you'll encounter one such challenge that, upon successful completion, rewards you with a crucial upgrade: the Reflector Ray Gun Mark 2-P. This guide will walk you through each step required to solve this puzzle and claim your powerful reward.

BO6 Shattered Veil : Reflector Ray Gun Mark 2-P puzzle

Preparation: Gathering Essential Items

Before you can even begin the Reflector Ray Gun Mark 2-P puzzle, you'll need to acquire a few key items by exploring the Shattered Veil map:

• Two Reflectors: These can be found inside the fountains located near the Quick Revive perk machine and the chalkboard associated with the Doppelghast puzzle. Search both fountain areas carefully to collect both Reflectors.
• An Essence Bomb: To obtain an Essence Bomb, you'll need to shoot any of the white crates scattered around the map. Destroying these crates has a chance to trigger the appearance of an Essence Bomb. Keep searching and shooting white crates until one spawns.
• An Empty Canister: You'll need an Empty Canister to initiate the puzzle within the Serpent Mound. The easiest way to acquire one is by picking up the LT53 Kazimir Tactical grenade. This tactical equipment can be found inside the Service Tunnel, in the rubble area at the center where the Der Wunderfuzz perk machine spawns. Alternatively, you can obtain an Empty Canister by shooting Blue Rocks or by throwing Tomahawks at specific pipes located in the Mainframe Chamber.

Initiating the Reflector Ray Gun Mk2 P Puzzle

Once you have gathered all the necessary items, follow these steps to begin the Reflector Ray Gun Mk2 P puzzle:

Reach the Serpent Mound: Use the Essence Bomb you acquired on the debris located in the Service Tunnel. Detonating the bomb will clear the pathway, granting you access to the Serpent Mound area.

Place the Empty Canister: Inside the Serpent Mound, locate a specific device designed to hold a canister. Approach this device and place the Empty Canister you obtained earlier into it.

The Beam of Light: Upon placing the Empty Canister, a beam of light will emanate from the device. This beam is your guide for the series of reflector puzzles you are about to solve.

Solving the Reflector Doppelghast Puzzles

The Reflector Ray Gun Mk2 P puzzleconsists of three distinct sub-puzzles, each culminating in achallenging encounter with a Doppelghast enemy. Here's how to solve each one:

Reflector Doppelghast Puzzle Solution #1:

Follow the Light: The first puzzle is relatively straightforward. Simply follow the direction of the initial beam of light.

Place the First Reflector: The beam will be pointing towards a specific location near one of the Doppelghast statues in the Serpent Mound. Place one of the Reflectors you collected at this indicated spot.

Follow the Light Again: After placing the first Reflector, the beam of light will change direction. Follow the new path of the light.

Place the Second Reflector: The beam should now be pointing towards a pole located near the device where you placed the Empty Canister. Place your second Reflector on this pole.

Confirmation: If you have placed the Reflectors correctly, the beam of light should now be directed towards one of the Doppelghast statues, confirming that you have solved the first part of the puzzle.

Spawn the Doppelghast: Approach the crystal in the area and perform a melee attack on it. This action will cause a Doppelghast enemy to spawn.

Defeat the Doppelghast: Eliminate the Doppelghast to successfully complete the first Reflector puzzle and proceed to the next stage.

Reflector Doppelghast Puzzle Solution #2:

Interact with the First Reflector: Return to the first Reflector you placed down earlier (near the Doppelghast statue) and perform a melee attack on it.

New Beam Direction: Meleeing the first Reflector will redirect the beam of light. Observe the new direction – it should now be pointing towards an opening in a cavern located above your current position.

Ascend to the Second Floor: Locate the entryway that the beam is pointing towards. This entryway will lead you to the second floor of the Serpent Mound, typically located to the left of the beam of light.

Place the Reflector on the Second Floor: Ascend to the second floor and follow the beam of light to its destination. Place one of your Reflectors (you should still have one remaining) at the spot where the beam is pointing on the second floor.

Interact with the Second Reflector: After placing the Reflector on the second floor, perform a melee attack on this second Reflector.

Direct the Beam: Punching the second Reflector should cause the beam of light to redirect once again, this time pointing towards the other Doppelghast statue in the Serpent Mound.

Eliminate the Doppelghast: Another Doppelghast enemy will spawn near the statue. Defeat this enemy to harvest its soul, signifying the completion of the second Reflector puzzle.

Reflector Doppelghast Puzzle Solution #3:

Return to the Second Floor: Make your way back up to the second floor of the Serpent Mound.

Pick Up the Second Reflector: Locate and pick up the second Reflector that you placed on the second floor during the previous puzzle. Youwon't need to place it again, so you can simply keep it in yourinventory.

Interact with the First Reflector: Descend back to the first Reflector that you initially placed near the first Doppelghast statue. Perform a melee attack on this first Reflector.

Redirect the Beam (Multiple Hits Possible): You may need to melee attack the first Reflector multiple times until the beam of light finally points towards the last remaining Doppelghast statue. Be patient and keep hitting the Reflector until the beam aligns correctly.

The Final Doppelghast: Once the beam is directed at the final statue, a Doppelghast enemy will spawn. This particular Doppelghast might be slightly more challenging than the previous ones.

Defeat the Final Enemy: Utilize your weapons and equipment to quickly eliminate this final Doppelghast. A Pack-a-Punched Ray Gun Mark 2 (if you have one already) will be highly effective against this enemy.

Claiming Your Reward: The Ray Gun Mark 2-P Upgrade

With all three Doppelghasts defeated, the Empty Canister that you placed at the beginning of the puzzle will now be transformed into the Light Canister.

Pick Up the Light Canister: Approach the device in the Serpent Mound and pick up the Light Canister.

Head to the Workbench: Make your way to the Director's Quarters workbench. This workbench is conveniently located near the Death Perception perk machine on the map.

Build the Ray Gun Mark 2-P: Interact with the workbench. You should now have the necessary components (including the Light Canister) to build the Ray Gun Mark 2-P upgrade.

Congratulations! You have successfully solved the Reflector Ray Gun Mark 2-P puzzle inBlack Ops 6 Zombies: Shattered Veil and obtained one of the Ray Gun Mark 2 upgrades.
