Intel's ninth generation mobile CPUs are compatible with 5 GHz Third-party laptops over 3 years.

The i9-9980HK processor will have more power than a three-year computer that Intel has released, and is designed for high-end videogame and audiovisual and film postproduction.

The ninth generation CPU will join the existing range of desktop processors and be available in a series of laptops produced by companies such as ASUS, Lenovo and Razer in a range of processor architectures.

The i9-9980HK offers up to 5 GHz of power, on an eight-core chip with 16 MB of Intel Smart Cache, it will be 33% faster compared to the PC of 3 years ago and will have a response of up to 28% higher.
