Asus ROG Gaming Laptops without Thunderbolt 3 game.

Asus ROG laptops are about to be released and are aimed at high-end games.

The prices range from 1,500 to 2,500 dollars, nothing economic for the great majority. But this is not the truly unfortunate, but that almost all the launches pass over and avoid the game Thunderbolt 3.

Asus ROG models don't have the Thunderbolt 3 ports

Unlike MSI and Razer if they have included Thunderbolt 3 as a staple in the super thin GS series and the Blade series for a long time.

We are all in agreement to say that $ 2,000 is not such a small capital and anyone who makes an investment of these in a computer gamer, would expect minimal that the team come at least with all the toys. But Asus ROG has not fully thought about this.

The MSI GT70 and GS series, the Razer Blade series, the Acer Predator Triton 700 series, and even the less expensive Lenovo Legion Y700 series include Thunderbolt 3 ports by default, Asus has simply moved on from this comparison.

OEM recently announced a large number of ROG laptops upgraded with Intel 9th Generation CPUs and Nvidia GTX 16 GPUs of which several models step up to $ 1,600 and even exceed them.

Despite its price, some Asus ROG models do not have the Thunderbolt 3 ports. These models are:

Zephyrus GX701 of 2,500 dollars.

Strix Scar III G531 for $ 1,700.

Strix Hero III G731.

And the Zephyrus S GX531GW for $ 2,200.

Something unforgivable when it comes to the high-end series. Even the original Zephyrus GX501 of 2017 included Thunderbolt 3, but the successor of the GX502 will eliminate the function completely.

So if you are looking for an Asus ROG you should opt for one of the largest models to have the game.
