We invite you to discover How to maximize yield in Farming Simulator 25, a new task in this great game, with our excellent and explanatory guide.

If you want to play the part of a successful farmer in Farming Simulator 25 (FS25), you need to learn how to maximize crop productivity. Put another way, being a farmer entails more than just planting seeds and tending to them at harvest; it also requires meticulous attention to detail in all the steps between. You need to know how to grow wheat, maize, or soybeans so you can get the most out of your harvest. Here are the top methods to increase your yield in Farming Simulator 25 by 100% and maximize your yields overall, saving you time and effort.

The harvest will come when the time is right if you sow the seeds and then forget about them. However, your land will become less efficient as a result of all this carelessness, and you will not achieve your maximum yield potential. You may get a sense of the potential harvest loss by multiplying these across multiple fields. So, if you follow all the advice we give, you should be able to get the 100-yield bonus on nearly every harvest!

Farming Simulator 25: How to maximize yield

Standing on or near the field and accessing the details screen will bring you to the field information panel, where you can view the yield bonus modifier. You can see exactly how your efforts are impacting the possible harvest thanks to the yield bonus %, which is displayed here. In order to monitor progress and pinpoint problem areas, you should keep an eye on this panel.

When you reach 100% yield bonus, your baseline harvest from the fields is doubled. If a farm normally produces 5,000 liters of crops without any modifications, increasing that to 10,000 liters after you get the 100% yield bonus is one example. Your yields from each field will effectively double. Allow me to get right down to business: in Farming Simulator 25, there is a certain sequence of procedures you must follow in order to attain a 100% yield bonus. The yield bonus will be increased by a specific percentage for each of these steps. If everything is executed properly, you have a better chance of always hitting the 100% yield bonus. This is a comprehensive explanation:

Mulching

You need to mulch the field before you can sow the seeds. That is, unless you have decomposed crop stubble remaining from harvesting. Soil enrichment and preparation for subsequent crop cycles can be achieved by doing this. Connecting a mulcher to a tractor is all that's needed to begin mulching. Go over the field with the mulcher.

Reward: 2.5% to 3%

we will plough

The next step, after mulching, is to plow the field. A wide variety of plow attachments are available. Your decision will be based on the crop. Anyway, get out your plowing equipment of choice and go to work plowing the whole field.

Incentive: 15%

Submerging

Rolling helps improve seed-to-soil contact and pushes the small stones back into the soil, protecting equipment from damage. To deal with small stones, you'll need to attach a roller to your truck and roll the field after plowing. Additionally, shortly after the seeding is complete, you will need to roll your field once more; we will address this shortly.

Bonus: 2.5% (when mulching is included for a total of 5%)

Liming

Liming remains a critical stage in farming even in the real world. Liming is necessary every three harvests to counteract soil acidity; I'll just run you through the science for you. A vehicle is required for each step, and this one is no different: you must use a lime spreader to distribute lime uniformly throughout the field. That the liming bonus diminishes with each harvest is an intriguing point to remember:

  • 15% liming yield after the first harvest
  • second crop: 10%
  • for the third harvest: 5%
  • lime is needed again for the fourth harvest, which results in 0%.
  • Incentive: 15%

Planting Seeds and Rolling

Use a standard seeder or planter to sow your crops on top of the lime. Selecting a crop that is well-suited to the area and time of year is, of course, essential for maximizing harvest. For the best results, use a seeder or planter that doesn't apply fertilizer. Rerolling is required after seeding is complete (as previously stated).

Fertilization

Use a slurry tanker, spreader, or sprayer to apply the first layer of fertilizer after sowing the seeds. Apply a second application of fertilizer after the plant has reached the following development stage. On the other hand, why submit just one application? If you accomplish that, the total bonus will be 45%. You can earn a total bonus of 45% after completing both stages, with a bonus of about 22.5% for each.

Remove the weeds.

Now that you've fertilized your crops and seen healthy growth, it's time to eradicate those annoying weeds. A little background: weeds are those pesky plants that grow in your crops but don't belong there. Their presence reduces crop yields because they compete for nutrients. Thus, prompt removal is of the utmost importance. You can uproot them at certain phases, and the bonuses they bring are listed below.

  • Bonus of 20% for small weeds
  • Mild weeds: an additional 15%
  • Large weeds: an additional 10%
  • Extra 20% (at most when withdrawn early)

Moving Forward!

After your crops have matured, it's time to harvest them with the right harvester. If only you had followed the instructions to a tee. You are probably hitting the yield bonus of 95% or more, if not 100%.

Falling short of expectations?

While this is a tried and true method for increasing profits, remember that you won't always get your whole 100% bonus. Ultimately, there are many variables in farming, including crop variety, weather, soil condition, and the effectiveness of the machinery used, all of which affect the end product. Because this is a simulation game, there are variables that could affect the outcome; as a result, you might not always obtain a 100% bonus. Although these methods may not always achieve a perfect 100% yield, they are tried and true techniques that will greatly increase your production. Improving agricultural output is as simple as paying close attention to detail at each step of the process.

We can conclude that knowing How to maximize yield in Farming Simulator 25 is easier than you think, you just have to apply these instructions to achieve it.
