How to Get Lime

Lime can be purchased for your fields in Farming Simulator 25 in two primary ways: either at the Lime Station or at the shop.

For ease of use, just go to the Lime Station and get some lime. Although it's not cheap, it's more efficient than making the long drive to the repair shop. Find the closest lime station to your farm and bring your tractor hitched to a fertilizer spreader to gather lime. After getting your tractor in the right spot inside the station, you may replenish your Fertilizer Spreader with lime by pressing the 'R' key. This will allow you to enhance your fields.

At the very bottom right of your screen, you should see a display that shows you how much lime is being added to your Fertilizer Spreader. For optimal results, fill the spreader to the brim every time you stop by the Lime Station. You can save time and effort by reducing the number of trips needed by doing this. By hitting the 'I' key, you can empty the lime and refill it with the necessary material, allowing you to repurpose the spreader for another operation.

Going to the store and buying lime is the second option. Although this method works, it may take more time than the other options because you have to physically move the lime to the spreader. Here are the procedures to buy lime: 

• Bring your Fertilizer Spreader to the store.
• Navigate to the "Vehicles" section of the shop's menu.
• Go ahead and select the "Yield Improvements" section.
• Lime is available for $450 a box under the "Consumables" section.

After making a purchase, the lime will magically materialize outside the store. To restock the spreader, get your tractor up close to the containers and hit the "R" button. You may now lime your fields and increase your harvest because you have your spreader prepared.

Farming Simulator: When to Use Lime 25

The "Needs Lime" notice will be displayed on fields that are in need of lime. Just open the map and go to the Soil Composition tab to see if a field needs lime. When you turn on the "Needs Lime" feature, any fields that call for lime will be shaded cyan.

Another option is to physically examine each field by going up to it and looking at the soil. Lime, weeding, and fertilizing instructions, among others, will be shown to you on your screen.

The 25th Edition Farming Simulator: Lime Use Guide

In Farming Simulator 25, you can use a Fertilizer Spreader, which can carry and distribute lime, to apply lime to your fields. You can buy fertilizer spreaders from the store, but not every model works with lime. The sole vehicle that can handle lime at the time of writing this guide is the Bredal K105.

The fertilizer spreader can be purchased by following these steps:

• Go to the closest repair shop with your tractor.
• To reach the shop menu, either press P to go straight to it or press R as you approach the entrance.
• Go ahead and choose the "Vehicles" option.
• Make sure you're in the "Fertilizer Spreader" section.
• You are looking for the $45,000 Bredal K105.
• The spreader can be adjusted to your liking. Simply using the regular version is enough for FS25 newbies.
• Click on the "Confirm Purchase" button.
• The Bredal K105 will materialize outside the store once the transaction is finalized. After reversing your tractor to line it up with the spreader, press Q to securely attach it. It is necessary to fill the Bredal K105 with lime after it is installed. To get lime, either buy it from the store or visit a Lime Station, as mentioned before.

The field that needs lime applied should be driven there after the spreader is filled. Press B to activate the Fertilizer Spreader after positioning the tractor within the field. The field will start to be covered in lime as you drive. In order to treat the soil efficiently, make sure to cover the entire area uniformly.

You can automate the procedure by delegating it to an AI worker if you prefer to save time. Simply hit the H key while in the field to create a job. Lime will be distributed across the specified field by the AI worker.

Before you may begin applying lime, make sure the Fertilizer Spreader is fastened to the tractor and that the vehicle is inside the field.
