Discover How to make money in Farming Simulator 25 with this excellent and detailed explanatory guide.

Working in the fields, caring for crops, constructing infrastructure, and a whole lot more are all part of being a farmer. However, why go through with all of this trouble? Obviously, cash is the key! When it comes down to it, Farming Simulator 25 is just another simulation game. Having a detailed strategy for your farm is thus moot. You will be unable to progress past many stages due to a lack of funds. Consequently, we have compiled all the methods and tricks to quickly earn money in FS25 to save you time and effort.

After you've played for a time, you'll see that making money is crucial to growing your farm empire. Gaining access to better gear and discovering more of the game's features will keep you busy at all times. Here is where being aware of the top methods for producing money can spare you a lot of time and effort. Without further ado, let's get into these tips.

Farming Simulator 25: How to make money

Some of the more reliable strategies for increasing your in-game wealth are detailed here. Although there is always the opportunity to cheat, which we will discuss later, let's examine some legal techniques to increase our earnings in FS25.

Extraneous stuff

Selling off unused buildings and equipment is one way to get money when you're in the middle of a game but running low. An already-built farm and various pieces of equipment should have been yours at the start of the game; however, you may find that some of these items are no longer relevant. So, just take a moment to go through your belongings and get rid of anything that isn't essential. Take stock of your tools first. Lots of things are duplicates; for example, there are probably more than one tractor. Your farm will remain operational if you sell one, especially the one with less horsepower. Tools that aren't essential to your process, such as header trailers or any other accessories, can also be sold. Don't overlook the structures and buildings that have seen better days.  In addition to the animals themselves, you may also remove ornamental barns, water features, unfinished building projects, and pens. Make sure to keep just the items that are crucial to your farming operations when you're eliminating them. This includes things like silos for storing crops and vital instruments for fieldwork.

Borrow money

If you find yourself short on funds, you can borrow some from the bank, just as in the real world. Borrowing money in FS25 is far less of a hassle than in the real world. Therefore, FS25 is not too severe if you are someone who is scared of loan interest rates. The process is as follows. To begin, press the option with the graph icon, which is the second-to-last choice, after pausing the game. The next step is to access the section where you can borrow money, which is under the Finances tab. To withdraw $5,000 increments, simply press the buttons that appear at the screen's bottom. If your farm's equipment and property are worth a lot of money, you can get a bigger loan. The maximum amount you can borrow is based on the overall value of your assets. You can borrow as much as half a million dollars, or perhaps more, based on the value of your land. The interest rates are reasonable; for every $100,000 borrowed, the cost is only about $333 per day. In order to keep track of your loan payments, the game allows you to repay the sum in $5,000 increments at your convenience.

Embrace agreements

You are passing up a significant chance to make a lot of money if you have been dozing off on all the contracts that are accessible. Select the fourth option from the pause menu, which has the icon of two report sheets, to view all of the available contracts. The many Contracts and their respective advantages are detailed below.

Bale wrapping contracts can be finished in under ten minutes and can yield a payout of about $5,000 (not including the cost of leasing equipment).

Here is a brief piece of advice on contract cultivation: The equipment from one contract can be rented out and used for other contracts before being returned if there are numerous available cultivating contracts.

Deadwood contracts include down certain trees, typically numbering nine or ten. By cutting costs with a chainsaw instead of renting machinery, these contracts become slightly more lucrative.

If you already own a fertilizer spreader, these contracts are tailor-made for you. You can save a ton of money on the prizes if you just use your equipment.

Contracts for Harvesting: Although they aren't as lucrative as they were in earlier games, contracts for harvesting still provide decent rewards. They are time-consuming, but they can pay off handsomely in the end especially if the field is big and the produce is valuable.

Maximize your profits from contracts by concentrating on the higher-paying ones and keeping equipment expenses in mind at all times. If you can use the leased equipment for more than one contract before returning it, it may be worth the investment, particularly for bigger jobs. You can multitask and boost your income by hiring others to do contract work while you tend to your farm operations.

A bale of grass and silage

Growing grass and purchasing silage bales might be a good alternative to feeding a large number of animals and cattle. The potential rewards outweigh the high initial investment (anything from $200,000 to $300,000). One unique thing about grass is that it may be harvested more than once a year. This opens the door to consistent production and sale of silage bales. To make silage bales, one must first mow the grass, then prepare it, balance it, and finally wrap it for fermentation. You must have certain necessary tools in order to begin working with silage bales. Break it down like this:

  • Cut the grass in your fields with a simple mower.
  • To make baling the grass easier, use a windrower to arrange the grass into rows.
  • In order to compress grass into bales, a baler is necessary. Pick a model that can still wrap bales of 150 cm in diameter; that's the maximum size that can be accommodated.
  • A separate bale wrapper is usually less expensive than a combined baler and wrapper system.

Switching Up the Playing Field

The basic idea behind field flipping is to buy fields that are ready to harvest, harvest the crops to their full potential, and then sell the fields back at the price you paid for them. To begin, you'll need to undertake some field scouting to find harvest-ready crops that are within your present equipment capabilities. The next step is to pay market price for the chosen field. After you've acquired the field, it's time to harvest the crops using the appropriate instruments you already own. The grain or food that has been harvested is now fully yours to sell or retain. The field should be sold after harvesting. In most cases, the market value of a field will remain constant, allowing you to recover all of your investment. To sum up, not only do you get your initial investment back in the form of the land, but you also get to retain 100% of the field's earnings! A word of advice: only buy fields that contain crops that are within your present equipment's capacity to harvest, and focus on high-value crops.

Miniature Manufacturing Units, Solar and Wind Power, and Greenhouses

tidbits of advice on how to quickly amass cash are here. First things first, get greenhouses (the less expensive kind) and start growing lettuce and other crops. If you give out water for free, you can make up to $7,200 a month. To save time and money, automate the selling of lettuce and use a small rice field or river as a free water source. It takes around seven months to reach break-even. The next step is to harness the power of nature! To ensure a consistent flow of funds each month, consider installing passive generators such as solar panels or wind turbines. Take a $100,000 solar panel as an example; it can produce $9,000 every month. Finally, you can process your farm's crops or timber by building modest enterprises like grain mills or sawmills, if you have the time. For instance, a sawmill that costs $36,000 can transform adjacent trees into planks, resulting in steady revenues. Since specific trees are not needed, you are free to cut down any tree you see and bring it to the mill to be processed.

Mods and Collectibles

All around the map you can find around twenty-five different collectibles. If you happen to come across any, you can sell them for a substantial $10,000 each. If you're willing to look for random things on a map, you can make as much as $250,000! Lastly, moving on to the mods, one mod called The Government Subsidy allows you to make an endless amount of money by posting subsidy signs. Each month, you can earn up to $4 million. Just go to the construction menu, select generators, and scroll down until you see a sign that says $0 to set up. Put up a few signs, press play, and your money will multiply quickly.
