Recruiting Aunt Martha may seem simple and straightforward, but she is by no means a mandatory character. Since she is not part of the main story, we can spend hours without realizing that she can be recruited. The key is to reach a point in the main story where Nowa unlocks the city's base of operations. After the necessary scenes, we are allowed to freely explore the city. We will leave the main castle and go to the east side, where the city passes into a forested area. It is here where we can find Aunt Martha. After a brief interaction with Nowa, she will leave her hometown and officially join the Guard.
