How to Get Kurtz and a Restaurant in Eiyuden Chronicles

Upon reaching the Euchrisse region in Eiyuden Chronicle and reaching Hishahn, we will meet Kurtz, a restaurant founder, in front of the blacksmith. This is usually eager to begin the culinary journey. However, he needs a specific recipe. Here we can choose to recruit Kurtz immediately after arriving in Hishahn, or, failing that, wait until after recruiting Carrie and registering at the local inn. When we speak with Kurtz, we will give him a warm welcome and express our desperate need for the grilled tutuva recipe.

Kurtz often says that the crust people hold the key to this particular recipe. However, we should not deceive ourselves into thinking that it refers to a town inhabited by canines that may not have yet been visited. In fact, it refers to the three people. We can find the recipe by talking to a random NPC on the second floor of Treefolk Village, near the trading post and in front of Squash. We just have to make sure to have a conversation with them and get the precious recipe.

Once we have obtained the recipe, it is our job to return to Hishahn and present it to Kurtz, who will then become a valuable member of our group in Eiyuden Chronicle, allowing us to establish and operate a restaurant.
