How to defeat Nerthus in Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes

As we embark on our journey in Eiyuden Chronicle, one of our goals is to recruit strong allies for our team. The first character we can recruit is, Mellore, can be found in our starting city, Eltisweiss. But before we set out to recruit her, we must be sure to properly equip our characters with healing items, since we will need them to defeat Nerthus.

It is our job, starting out of Eltisweiss and heading east that will take us to Redthroat Ridge, where we will find Mellore waiting for us. When we agree to work together, we will both head north, where the fearsome monster Nerthus resides. This is a giant mole-like creature and it presents us with a challenge as it appears randomly on both sides of the battlefield, making it difficult to predict.

For our good fortune, Mellore possesses two grimoires that can help us defeat Nerthus, she throws a powerful magical hammer when activated. To activate a grimoire, she uses the Gimmick ability with any character. However, the most difficult part here is guessing which side Nerthus will appear on, since it is completely random, this makes it necessary to assign a character to interact with the grimoires while the others will have to defend and heal.

This is precisely where these healing elements are favorable, in case we are not lucky with our guesses. As long as we have enough healing items, we can face this battle with confidence, once Nerthus is defeated, Mellore will join our team, ready to face any challenge that may be presented to us.
