How to unlock Wu True Ending Route in Battle of Xiangyang in Dynasty Warriors Origins?
Having completed the Wu storyline once, enter Dynasty Warriors Origins' story Mode and select Wu, Chapter 3. The Battle of Xiangyang can be played by selecting the Golden Banner that requests it. This battle must be completed in order to unlock the True Ending. The remaining two will be shown at Chapter 4 and Chapter 5, respectively.
This is the battle where Huang Zu kills Sun Jian. Honestly, you'll be hearing that nickname a lot throughout the Wu story. No amount of effort can catch that man.
Since Shu's True Ending Route unlock seems to only really be timed by "defeat Cao Cao before Liu Bei escapes" since he was painfully sluggish, Wu's is considerably harder to unlock. The Wu True Ending Route on Battle of Xiangyang in Dynasty Warriors Origins requires quick thinking to unlock it. I'd recommend playing the stage on Historian difficulty in order to have as much speed and ability to cleave foes as possible.
Do not ride with the rest of the party, instead head north and take out Xiang Liang and Cai He so they cannot sneak up on the rest of them. After that go to Sun Ce and ride along on his journey. Then ride on until you see the officers' heads turn and take them out.
While you're at it, defeat Li Yan and Yi Ji too. You really don't have to be too concerned about them. Sadly, you're more or less forced to take Huang Zu's surprise attack. You can choose to fight Cai Mao, who is riding his horse towards you. Be sure to block if you get surrounded by a rain of arrows.
Sun Ce's party will renew their advance once Sun Jian and Huang Gai attempt to dispose with Zhang Hu. Mounted, clear the forces of the foe from the northeastern encampment as well as its environs. On its north there must at least be one officer on guard duty to the north of the citadel. However, instead of proceeding north toward the castle, west and head to the long path going south.

If you get to location at just about the right time, Sun Jian will pretend to be defeated and a cutscene will appear.
If that doesn't work, my advice would be to go back to the stage where you fought Zhang Jiao and try to beat him faster. It took me three or four tries to get there in time. The trick seems to be to do absolutely nothing unnecessary. You have to make gaining speed the number one priority. This will complete the Battle of Xiangyang in Dynasty Warriors Origins and unlock the first part of the Wu True Ending path.
