Our guide today aims to explain to you How to deplete enemy officers Fortitude in Dynasty Warriors Origins.
Fortitude serves as one of the most important and highly used mechanics in Dynasty Warriors Origins in that it enables the use of the Assault command. This will pop up on nearly each and every battle - bar some minor skirmishes that do not include any commanders. While defeat of policemen with Fortitude/Assault is not strictly necessary, it will expedite combat considerably.
If you pay attention to your Bravery and the end's moves, you can easily destroy the Fortitude easily, whether in the main character or an interchange character in a temporary setting like Guan Yu.
If you want to know how to Assault the enemy officers in Dynasty Warriors Origins with ease and also in the quickest way, this is just the guide that you need.
How to deplete enemy officers Fortitude in Dynasty Warriors Origins?
You won't encounter officers early in Dynasty Warriors Origins that have more than two or three Shields (Fortitude). You can perform an Assault action once they are gone. Handling this might be a bit irritating at first, but it gets easier once you have spent some time with the game and have unlocked several skills. You will be prompted to Assault an enemy when their Fortitude goes to 0. Stun them.
You usually just mash the attack button really fast to continuously strike that monster-and everyone around-though you could have killed them so much more simply with one shot, provided you are strong enough.
Under "strike enemies when their guard is down after their attack," the game suggests in the help menu that you make a move. To begin wearing down someone's defenses, it's best to assault quickly and repeatedly. However, there are other ways. Frankly, one of the finest techniques is parrying any assault that you can – some attacks simply cannot be parried.
Timed correctly, activating the block button to parry an opposing strike in Dynasty Warriors Origins starts up a counterattack that stuns the opponent. This will consume a bit of one's Fortitude as well. Use a string of attacks to sap the Fortitude and, preferable gain an attack when an opponent is in a daze.
Not as powerful, but Perfect Evade helps too. Perfect evasion refills bonus Bravery. If you are a user of weapons such as the Podao, Wheels, and Crescent Blade like myself, you probably have a few talents that hit multiple times. These take a great deal of Bravery to use, but if you can get close enough to an enemy, you can quickly deplete their Fortitude.
By no means the list of best defensive shredders inside Dynasty Warriors Origins, but these are the ones I use the most to just knock someone out cold and land me an Assault:
- Three Bravery Wheels of Triple Tempest
- Double-Brave Crawling Dragon with Wheels
- Three courageous dragon tail swipes with a crescent blade
- Three Crescent Blades of Relentless Whirl Slash
- Three Bravery, Podao, Sea of Flames
- The fourth Bravery Podao, Blade Typhoon
- Dodging Catching Force (3 Valor, Sword)
- Sacred Eagle Dance (7 Spear, Courage)
- The Mad Blade Rush 2 (Sword, Bravery)
- Whirlwind Dance requires five brave spears.
- Ascending Dragon Vortex (3 Strength, Arrow)
- Three Bravery Gauntlets and the Maw of the Tiger
- Tornado Kick (3 Valor, Gauntlets)
- Strike with Brutality (3 Bravery, Staff)
- Unpredictable Flurry (3 Courage, Staff)
- Eighth, Twin Pike Bravery, Sky Sunder
- Violent Battle of Bravery and Twin Pikes
Level 3 Spirit Wave:Lance Bravery, Battle Cry 2 Valor Lance 4-League Bravery Crouching Tiger Strike Red Fortitude Symbols on enemies indicate exceptionally high morale or bravery, or the result of a boost that the enemy has activated. There are more of them than on an average officer, but you still handle them like any other.
In Dynasty Warriors Origins, my strategy for dealing with Fortitude is to wait for an enemy to land a strong blow, then switch to a massive Bravery multi-hit, like in the example above. Even though I was awful at parrying in the beginning of the game, I now try to do it often.
Depending on how you've set things up, a couple of successful evades can also build up the Bravery gauge to the point where you can drop one or two special arts. In Dynasty Warriors Origins you'll be fast becoming the king of parrying and flawless evasion, have a robust and diverse set of special skills, and be able to make Fortitude icons disappear.
Now that you know How to deplete enemy officers Fortitude in Dynasty Warriors Origins, apply the guide to achieve it easily.
